Take a boat, or walk to Torno to find a bar, cafe, shop, and restaurants. Como is a short drive, and public transport is close by. E' raggiungibile con i mezzi di trasporto pubblico : gli autobus C30 C31 C32 con partenza ogni ora circa dalla stazione ferroviaria Como San Giovanni , Como Lago Ferrovie Nord o da Piazza Matteotti in direzione Como- Bellagio, impiegano circa 8 min per raggiungere la fermata Blevio - Decorazioni Savio, distante 100 m circa dall' abitazione. Alternativa piacevole al trasporto pubblico tradizionale può essere l'uso dei battelli della navigazione del Lago di Como, con partenza da Piazza Cavour in direzione Torno, da dove camminando per circa 15 min raggiungerete la destinazione. It can be reached by public transport: buses C30 C31 C32 departing approximately every hour from the Como San Giovanni railway station, Como Lago Ferrovie Nord or from Piazza Matteotti towards Como-Bellagio, take about 8 minutes to reach the Blevio stop - Decorations Savio, about 100 m away from the house. A pleasant alternative to traditional public transport may be the use of Lake Como navigation boats, departing from Piazza Cavour in the direction of Torno, from where walking for about 15 minutes you will reach the destination. I ALLOW ME TO STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE SMALLEST AND CHEAPEST CAR, TO MOVE INDEPENDENTLY, AS IN OUR AREA PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND TAXIS ARE NOT COFORTABLE Villa Pasta The villa was built in the early XIX cen- tury and was bought in 1830 by the famous opera singer Giuditta Pasta hosting space for its several guests. In the park the fol lowing built: the studio painting of Clelia, Giuditta's daughter, who attended the Brera Academy in Milan; the cafe-house, a small cave to cool in the summer; the wooden theater where Giuditta practised singing. Captain Wilhelm Locke, grandson of the famous philosopher, drowned in front of his wife and other guests in the lake area in front of the villa. Later his daughter erected a gravestone in his memory. In the small ceme- tery of Blevio it is possible to visit the grave of Giuditta Pasta who died in 1865.

for four days I would say that Norma's place was very pleasant, I did not like the blind windows of the bedroom and bathroom and since I was with my kitten suitable for staying in the house in this apartment it is absolutely not indicated because there are too many possibilities of escape for the animal. So every time I went out I had to close everything and the air conditioning is not there. I had asked if there was a terrace to see to leave it quietly outdoors. I was told yes, but it is shared with a tenant and very dangerous... here I would ask according to removing the last photo that does not correspond to the house but it is another house with a private terrace. For hosts who host pets, it's best to inquire sooner. I think the price is too high.

Guilia is an incredible host, contacting me at all appropriate stages from post-booking, pre-arrival and right before I was due to depart. The apartment is exactly how it looks in the listing. I was shown around on arrival, and was allowed the chance to do my own thing or visit their farm. Sadly, I travelled to so many places that I struggled to find the time to do that, so maybe next time. The neighbours are wonderful, friendly and welcoming, too. It was great to have the chance to meet them. The surroundings are stunning, with lots of greenery and a view of the river and mountains. There’s sun in the morning on one balcony, then, in the afternoon you can switch to the balcony in the bedroom. Fantastic options to catch the sun if you wish to stay There are plenty of amenities. I have a restricted diet so cooked for myself in the kitchen. There are plenty of local shops and supermarkets to choose from, too. Overall, I recommend this accommodation. I’ll be back!

We had a great stay at Rita and her husband's place. The apartment is really very individual, furnished with a lot of love and countless details. Our room was large, we had our own, very large beautiful modern bathroom right next to our room. It was also possible to set up a third bed. And there are also two very nice, planted balconies, which I fell in love with 😉 Rita is a very sweet, friendly and helpful host. We really enjoyed it very much with her. Thank you very much!
