The Conners - a modernised fisherman's cottage

SarahRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Loved my stay - this property is in a perfect location with great views of the sea. Master bedroom is really comfortable and the house is cosy - loved the seat in front of the window with the view! Kitchen is well equipped. While you're there, I recommend walking through the closes of the village - Denside is a delight at this time of year! Also the effort to get up to St John's Kirkyard via the beach is very much worth it, as-is heading round to Crovie via the Sneuk path. I had a lovely time with the folks in the Heritage Centre - recommend popping in to see them. The nearest parking is in a small car park beyond the cottage at the end of the sea wall, or next to the bins before heading down the sea wall, (see restrictions notice) or at the harbour.

A black circular plaque is embedded in a gravel surface, displaying the engraved text 'CROFT OF FEITH-HILL' along with a floral design in the center. The plaque's metallic finish contrasts with the surrounding gravel, providing a clear identifier for the property.

We've had several bookings at Edith's place over the last couple of months whilst working in the area. A wonderful spot and Edith has been wonderful too! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Mavisbank

RebeccaRating, 5 stars6 months ago
I'm not sure its possible to write a sufficiently glowing review for Mavis Bank in the space that we have here, but I'll give it my best shot! What a truly wonderful stay from start to finish. Our host Morag could not have been more accomodating to our every need, and really did make this beautiful house feel like a home away from home. We visited with a group for my mums 70th birthday and arrived to an extremely thoughtful card, cake and bottle of prosecco as I'd mentioned the reason for our trip. My mum was just delighted. With the perfect mix of stunning decor and cosy, homely vibes, the venue had everything we could need and more, with gorgeous grounds and surroundings to match. Imacculately clean throughout and with enourmous (and extremely comfortable) beds which ensured we had a peaceful nights sleep. From the fabulous hosting to the well thought-out ameities, this is a stay that we would revisit time and time again for any special occasion, or even just a wee getaway.

Secluded luxury retreat on a country estate

DuncanRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This is an outstanding place for kids and furry friends. Sue and Jim could not have been more helpful or welcoming - the cottage is pristine, cosy and with all you need no matter the weather. The grounds are stunning; affording you real privacy and lots to explore and do from climbing trees to den making, and all whilst surrounded by nature. You are only 10 mins from Inverurie which has plenty of shops to meet your needs. A trip to the Old Post Office for brilliant cakes, Castle Fraser and Kemnay are worth a visit as is the Pit Stop for a great fry up and the Gordon Highlanders museum is perfect for a raining day. Easily the most pet friendly place we have ever stayed.

Calum and Ru were incredibly helpful and gave a lot of recommendations for golf and restaurants. They were even good enough to sort the weather so we could play golf in the sunshine!
