Lake house vacation rentals in Okauchee Lake

This is our second stay here. We enjoy hanging out in the sunshine on the porch and taking in the view. And Sue is a great cohost – very very sweet. Lovely space!

We had a wonderful stay at this comfortable lake house while our home was being renovated. The area is perfect, with plenty to walk to, and a great view of the lake and marina. The home was spotlessly clean, spacious, and very comfortable and inviting. Sue was a great help with whatever we needed and got back to us right away when we had a question. highly recommend.

Our group of 6 ladies was perfectly accommodated in this house. The seating area in the living room (with amazing soffit lighting) was perfect for our evening hangouts. We worked out the beds to meet our needs - because we had great options! We had plenty of off-street parking and figured out the street parking. Street parking was fine after we understood the rotation. Comfortable clean furniture, good lighting, access to electrical outlets, were all great! Lovely house that we thoroughly enjoyed.

This was a great house for our large group. There were lots of great areas of the home to explore and spend time in. The sunrises and sunsets were beautiful over the lake! A wonderful getaway!

Loved this house! Has my bachelorette party here with 10 ladies and we felt right at home. Big enough and perfect lot. The many beds and sleeping spots were a big plus.

Need to spend a night in the Racine/Kenosha area and stumbled upon this gem! There were four of us and our little dog and it was perfect. I think each of us said, “it’s too bad we’re not staying for another night!” The pictures don’t really do it justice but Mindy’s house is homey, comfortable, and spotless! The kitchen was well-equipped, beds were comfy, and the backyard/river view is wonderful. Thank you Mindy!

This house and location was beautiful! The house is updated and was bright and open. We had 7 women total for a reading retreat, so the dining table was perfect, everyone had their own bed, and there were plenty of spaces for us to spend time with each other comfortably, but also plenty of couches and chairs spread out to read and relax. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cookware and utensils. When there was a windstorm overnight, Emily was immediately responsive when we sent a note about it. Any questions we had, Emily was quick to answer. We were so impressed with the house and we would love to come back in the future.

We have stayed at Shamba 4 times. It is an absolutely amazing spot on Lake Michigan. The home is lovely and very spacious. You could not ask for better views of the lake from inside or outside. The beach is literally right outside your door. Great spot for kids to play and great for walks too. Will definitely return again.

Lovely place, would definitely stay here again. Even tho it was cold, the view was beautiful . And I felt right at home there

Jane responded fast to text messages. very kind, offered to tell about restaurants and local entertainment. I had an issue with the door ( operator error ) called Jane and she called me back to see if i was able to fix the issue, which was a simple fix. I will definitely make sure I reserve there again when I go back into town if available.

Great place for a family. Kitchen was well stocked with plates, utensils, appliances and tools for our stay. Beautiful location, right on the river with a huge lawn for yard games, fire pit, and to have the kids run around.

We had a lovely, comfortable week here. My parents are in their eighties, so we appreciated the single level and combination of open spaces, private areas, and convenient seating options. Late summer wildlife sightings (sandhill cranes, deer, woodchuck) were an unexpected bonus when we sat outside. This was our first time in the Lake Geneva area, and it was fun to discover some excellent restaurants--and then come back to a quieter, peaceful space. The house was very comfortable and well kept, and the hosts did a great job of touching base (just the right amount)!

We ones the sound of the waves. We were at home from the minute we walked in. We walked the beaches and grilled terrific dinners. The kitchen was fully stocked and the home was neat and clean. The amount of light that came in the home and view of the water was breathtaking. The bedrooms were roomy and beds were super comfortable. We loved every minute of our stay and will be back again soon. Sara, our host, was amazing and very responsive. She has created an absolute sanctuary.

We had an amazing stay at Luke’s place! The house was super clean, spacious, and in a really quiet area. Luke was also really kind and easy to communicate with. This was our first Airbnb experience and we honestly loved every second of it. The home was just remodeled last year, so it felt fresh and modern—especially compared to other houses nearby. We didn’t run into any major issues. The only small thing was that the downstairs bathroom door didn’t close all the way, but they had a door stopper, so it wasn’t a big deal. The fridge also didn’t make ice very fast, but again, not a huge problem. Overall, it was a great time, and those morning views were something else. We’d definitely stay here again!

Our family experienced a home fire on Friday. The only complaint I have is we can’t stay here until we’re back in our home! Truly beautiful, excellent location, fantastic hosts. Don’t miss on an opportunity to stay here!

Amazing lakefront retreat. House was perfectly clean and in great condition. The hot tub overlooking the lake was amazing. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful stay! From the unique artwork/aesthetic to the beautiful views, this was a perfect stay for our family. Very clean, very organized and we all felt very at home. Hoping to come back in the summer to really be able to utilize all the special amenities!

We had such a wonderful Christmas at The Paddle House! The house was beautiful and Maria even had a Christmas tree set up for us! The view of the lake out of the huge living room window was amazing especially as it snowed! I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a cozy oconomowoc getaway!

This lake house was amazing. It is completely updated. The view of the lake was incredible. Sitting by the fire and fishing. Could not have been better. The location to our events was great. Close to stores and restaurants. Just Dow the street from a park. It was perfect. I would definitely stay there again.

Clean house, quiet location. Very good amount of space if you spend a lot of time at the house. Just out of town which is very nice so you can get to the restaraunts or other locations quickly. Instructions were clear and easy for check in and out.

Tons of fun. Loved the vibe of the space. Loved the restaurant and bar nearby. Loved the lake. Backyard also fantastic.

Kendra’s place went above and beyond our expectations for our weekend getaway. We had such a relaxing time with enough things to do around town to explore. Such great restaurants close by, we loved them all. The house was clean as can be and Kendra was responsive to all of our needs and questions. We will be back!!!!
