great place to stay, Toshi is very responsive and helpful. only stayed for 1 night but wish we could have stayed longer!

I had a wonderful weekend in a large Heike house on a hill in Oiso.It was a house that made me want to live in a place like this for the rest of my life...! Check-out was scheduled for 11 o'clock, but the host said, "You can take your time," and responded to chats immediately, and I was impressed by the kindness of the host. The sauna also has a full-size stove, and in 30-40 minutes, the temperature and humidity were optimal.There was also an aroma for Ryuryu, which was great! We would love to stay there again when we visit Oiso.Thanks for your hospitality!

It was a special experience for our first time in Japan. Very tranquil and peaceful stay, the room was spacious and tidy and relaxing. In the morning and day time, it was very comfortable, inspiring for many ideas. If you do love a quiet and far from town experience then this is the choice. There was one thing we couldn't do is to cook with local ingredients like Chika recommended as the trip was quite packed, but if we do have chance to visit Oiso again, Chika's place is surely in the list.
