Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Ohrdruf

Beautiful little house in a very quiet location. In the house you will find everything you need for a vacation. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, exactly the right little things are everywhere. A great garden for the kids, nice hikes possible, with a stopover in quaint restaurants. We've been there in the spring and winter so far. We hope to try out autumn and summer as well. Highly recommended!

We were able to experience a very cozy & relaxed winter time with our 6 children in the house. There are enough retreats for everyone & at the same time enough space to play together, etc. The house/location is ideally located to take excursions in the area (swimming/fun pool in 15 minutes, treetop trail plus great museum for children, several small discovery trails & much more). 3 minutes from the house there is an ingeniously designed & huge playground. Our kids all want to come back too! The whole framework was more than harmonious for us.

This place is really phenomenal: it is extremely lovingly and comfortably furnished, the kitchen is really equipped with everything it needs and the view from the terrace is just magnificent. I spent some wonderful days here and also enjoyed the beautiful surroundings while hiking. Big plus: you can also get there by public transport / bus.

My girlfriends and I had a perfect weekend at Katharina's place. The cottage is furnished with a lot of love and heart and has everything you need, including the terrace (our favorite place) with wonderful views of the countryside and the sunset. We felt right at home and above all had great fun with the countless games that were to be discovered. :) The communication with Katharina was great and with her warm manner, which is also reflected in the house, she made our stay perfect. We would come back any time and highly recommend it to anyone who would like to spend a small getaway weekend in nature.

Sabine made our Christmas in Germany unforgettable. From the start, she welcomed us with warmth, kindness, and incredible attention to detail. She thoughtfully assigned rooms for our large group and arranged the furniture to ensure everyone felt comfortable and at home. Even though we arrived early, Sabine greeted us with her son, giving us a warm, heartfelt welcome. She provided a detailed tour of the house, patiently explaining everything and answering our questions. To make our holiday special, Sabine decorated every room with glowing Christmas decorations and left thoughtful treats—candy, beer, and wine. Her generosity brought tears to my eyes, and we began our trip with laughter, hugs, and a deep sense of care. Meeting Sabine and her son was the highlight of our trip. We’re so grateful for her thoughtfulness, warmth, and the love she put into making our holiday so memorable.

The vacation home was extremely child-friendly. There was plenty of space to play, a safe environment and child-friendly amenities that made the stay very pleasant. The cleanliness was also excellent – all rooms were well maintained and tidy. We felt completely comfortable and would definitely recommend the vacation home!

We spent a nice New Year's weekend there. The apartment is lovingly and tastefully furnished, there is everything you need. It is also tidy and clean. We felt very comfortable right from the start.

We stayed with Sebastian at the AirBnB for the second time with our two small children and would be happy to come back at any time. Sebastian is very attentive and helpful and makes you feel welcome here as a family. The apartment was extremely clean and is super equipped with everything you need for a nice stay. Among other things, the fridge was already filled with a few drinks for us and also the other basics such as coffee powder, oil and spices were available. The location of the accommodation is also great: very close to the city center, the supermarket and the playground and nature. Sebastian was always available for us and the check-in and check-out was flexible. Worth all the stars and a clear recommendation for anyone who wants to spend a few nice days in Jena.

The apartment was just right for us. Great value for money! Very good communication with Andrea. Castle, old town and train station within walking distance. Tram 2 minutes away. Bakery right across the street. We will be happy to come back!

Overall a great place to stay. There were some comminication difficulties at times, which came from a few misunderstandings and medical emrgencies, however it was overall a great place to spend the Weekend at and the accommodation was clean!

I would love to recommend René's place! I booked here for my colleagues Everything was great from booking to communication! Simple, fast, very friendly. My colleagues felt very comfortable in the well-equipped and clean apartment. René was also so free and brought fresh towels to my colleague. Not self-evident! The apartment is cozy and has everything you need. You can explore the city on foot from there and the contact with Mona was straightforward and friendly.

We stayed here 5 nights. The apartment is lovely, cosy and comfortable. We had all we needed for our self-contained stay. Supermarkets and tram stops are close by. This place is really very, very great. The furnishings make you feel right at home and from the apartment you can quickly reach the train station and the beautiful city:) Highly recommended

Thank you for the hospitality and the great apartment! We felt very comfortable. Very family-friendly, the stairs upstairs can be "closed" so that the children cannot simply climb down. Lots of toys, including a small kitchen. Public transport is easily accessible. The house and garden are very lovingly designed. Also, thanks for the briefing on arrival! All the best to you!

The place is very centrally located, making everything easily accessible on foot. Check-in went smoothly & was well explained, as was check-out. At night, it might be a little louder outside than you are used to, but it didn't bother us much. Our stay at the place was really pleasant & nice. ^^ highly recommended!

The location of the apartment was wonderfully central and also wonderful walks right outside the front door. The key was also handed over in person, which I felt very positive.

Julia and Oliver left me their beautiful, modernly furnished apartment for a few days, which was very clean (and even contained a separate children's room, which I didn't need alone ;-)). All rooms are new and beautifully renovated, the bathroom was also great. The rooms are also chicly furnished. A very large TV is in the living room, Wi-Fi is very easy to connect and the reception and bandwidth are great. Parking the car is possible directly at and close to the apartment. Location is absolutely quiet. For me, the location was perfect for excursions to nearby destinations such as Veste Coburg, Veste Rosenberg, Bamberg and others. If you want to hike, you will find the area very suitable. All in all: Many thanks to Julia and Oliver for letting us stay in their apartment!
