Here is ample opportunity for walking and cycling tours around the associated 9 ha, and plenty of children's play and ball games. Whether you are one family or more, the house is perfect for a relaxing holiday. The house is equipped with 4.5 bedrooms and sleeps 10. 2 bathrooms plus guest toilet. Large terrace overlooking its own lake and wood-burning stove in the living room. Well-equipped kitchen as well as dining room and large activity room.

The little house on the edge of the forest

The small house is located on the forest edge of the Elmelund forest. It's well located to experience Funen, a golf course ride, or enjoy nature and relax in this quiet space. By bike there is about 5.5 km to the pedestrian street in Odense. From the house there are direct access to about 15 km of forest trails, which invite for walking, running or biking. Blommenslyst Golfklub is about 3 km from here by car and to Odense Eventyr Golf about 3.2 km by car. The house The house is independently located at the back of the garden about 25 m2.

Relax in this unique annex within walking distance to the lake and with the possibility of accommodation in a cabin in the treetops. There is a private terrace, possibility of use of fire pit, barbecue, access to simple kitchen facilities and extra bedding. The annex is an extension of our house, and some days we will be home. It is suitable for both single or multiple nights, and you can use the garden, walk to the local lake, bike mountain bike or take a trip from this central location on Funen.

Fishing license can be purchased online for 50 kr. Located in scenic surroundings between 2 lakes, close to Odense.

Despite the proximity to Odense and the highway across Fyn, the annex 'Stærekassen' feels like a remote and hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. Enjoy the eagles gliding the skies, the heron fishing in the small lake, the many deer strolling the garden, the wealth of birds and the pheasant trying to impress the hens. Relax and enjoy the view over the soft hills and forest of Hesbjerg and be welcomed by our old and very gentle labrador Luna.

There will be some personal belongings upstairs in the closet, but nothing that will bother the guests :)
