In good weather, the harbor promenade just outside is well visited. Cozy and well-utilized bathhouse with sleeping loft. Fantastic, south-facing, 180-degree panoramic views of the water, harbor and city skyline. Small living at its best - perfect for couples or business travelers. The kitchen with electric kettle and fridge - not possible to cook hot food.

From the hallway to the basement is a large bathroom that is only used by guests and a small fully functional kitchenette with microwave, electric kettle and small refrigerator. In the garden there is a fire pit and fireplace that can be freely used. The house is centrally located with 300 meters to public transport and 200 meters to shopping. 7 km to Saksild Strand and 10 km to Hou. It's clean and cozy, but don't expect high hotel standards.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Beautiful place in the countryside with fantastic views of the fields. Close to Saksild beach and Hou Marina - Vandhalla swimming pool 2 kilometers to the center of Odder. The light rail to Aarhus is about 35 minutes away. 20 km to Horsens (visit the old prison in the cultural center and museum) 10 km to Vilhelmsborg 15 km to Skanderborg 15 km to Mosegaard museum and beach 1 km to Fru Møllers (farm shop) You can also visit LEGOland - Djurs Sommerland - which is only an hour's drive from us.

The house is 150 meters from the light rail, so you can get to Odder in about five minutes or reach Aarhus and all the possibilities there in half an hour. It is 7.5 km to Saksild Strand, which is known as one of Denmark's best and most child-friendly beaches. In addition, it is only 11 km to Moesgaard Museum, 6.5 km to the fantastic Fru Møllers Mølleri and 3.5 km to Padel Laden, where you can book a court and equipment online.

Yes, it's tiny. The double bed is tiny (120 cm X 200 cm). The extra bed is tiny. The sink is tiny. But it will not be a tiny experience. The surrounding landscape is huge and plentiful. If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗
