Monthly Rentals in Ocotal Bay

Wow!!!! Great stay at AirBnb in Octocal Beach. We visited Costa Rica for our daughter’s nuptials and indeed our stay at this AirBnb was an unforgettable experience. It was an upscale home away from home. The service was excellent! The atmosphere soothing yet vibrant, calm, and relaxing. The rooms were clean, spacious with stunning views. The amenities were top notch and every needed for a home away from home was readily available in the home. I highly recommend this AirBnb and my family I, look forward to the next opportunity to visit. Many thanks to our amazing host Alina.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Susana’s place, and would definitely recommend it. The space is safe, close to the beach, & we felt very comfortable there for our 12 day stay. Susana is very responsive, & helpful. A few maintenance issues during our stay, but they were manageable & not a huge deal. The ants can be controlled by keeping compostables out of the garbage can, & keeping the garbage tied up. You might see the odd gecko in the house too, but it’s very typical for Costa Rica. The neighbours are lovely, & kind, offering tips & advice for the area. There is a coral restoration project at Ocotal that you can snorkel to, & we were able to snorkel with sea turtles, manta rays, & many more species. A quick Uber ride into Coco for nightlife & restaurants. Susana’s place has plenty of amenities, A/C, dishes, linens, towels, a cooler, a BBQ, and beach chairs. The pool is perfect; quiet, surrounded by foliage, & there’s an outdoor shower by the pool so you can rinse off beach sand.

Spyglass house is amazing. It’s extremely private and peaceful, the perfect retreat with an incredible view overlooking Playa Ocotal. Incredible sunsets from any of the numerous windows or the pool. We really enjoyed Playa Ocotal and the restaurant Father Roosters down by the beach. We ended up driving there- the road/driveway is very steep, but it was an easy drive (10 minutes max including parking) with manageable parking on dirt road. 4WD was helpful. Cherie was an incredible host and recommended us an awesome restaurant, and a private chef. She was very responsive and helpful whenever we messaged her. I would absolutely stay here again!

Our stay was amazing. We loved sitting out in the deck for morning coffee and watching the beautiful birds. It was so relaxing. If you get up early in the morning you can hear the howler monkeys! The house was magnificent. Thank you Andrew and Brenda for sharing your house with us! Pura Vida!!
