Booked this very last minute for a work trip! Was just like the pictures it made me wish I had more time to stay in the area. I could tell it was close to the park and would be a great location if you want to explore downtown.

Wonderful spot for an Athens visit! Great for parents weekend. We even got to cook a meal for our college daughter and her boyfriend, which was a gift. A great location, walkable to all our needs and a great roost for two for a quick visit. Much more comfortable than a hotel and all we needed!

Had a great stay at Nicolas's place! We were in Athens for our daughter's graduation and it worked out perfectly. Everything was so clean and comfortable, and matched the listing exactly. Nicolas was so friendly and very responsive, we'd love to stay again! Thank you!

Great place to stay - met all of our needs and then some. Perfect for a night before the Georgia G Day scrimmage game. Host was super helpful and responsive.

Guest House was perfect! Easy in and easy out. We were only there for sleeping, but if you’ll be there during the day do note that there’s a pool right outside the door. We have a toddler so we just were super vigilant when we were coming and going. House is roomy and clean!

We really appreciated Jim & Susan’s hospitality! This was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway. Would definitely stay again!

The cozy cottage was a perfect choice for myself. It was peaceful and quiet, and comfortable. Melanie put a lot of thought into the cottage.

Heidi's place was perfect. It is close to town and to shopping. So peaceful! Very comfortable and cute space. We would definitely stay again.

Such a cute guesthouse! I was hesitant before booking because I was traveling with my dog but Beverly answered all my questions and concerns prior to my booking. Upon arrival we had detailed check in instructions which I appreciate. There is the most charming walkway and little pond you walk through to get to the guesthouse. Our stay was peaceful and fun. Beverly is an excellent responsive host. If you need a cozy spot in Covington please consider here!

All we can say is WOW, what a weekend! All the way from the front gate to the back of the pond is simply amazing! It was a special birthday and staying at the mansion made it 100x more special. The property is stunning & so peaceful. We are huge Vampire Diaries fans so being there in the heart of where it was filmed is an experience we will never forget. The homeowners, Benjamin & Ralph, are very welcoming and so nice. They made us feel like at home and welcomed us into the mansion to look around at where the show was filmed inside. They also welcomed all questions we had. We felt totally safe staying on the gated property w\ security cameras. It’s walking distance from the mansion to the square where there are some restaurants, and gift shops. We loved the delicious food from Mystic Grill (on the square) & the macarons from Little Rabbit Bake Shop (just down the street from the square). Even if you are not a Vampire Diaries fan, you won’t be disappointed staying at the carriage house!

Treva’s home was exactly as I expected. It was quiet, cozy, clean, comfortable, and beautiful. I am so thankful I was able to stay in this space. I felt right at home and safe in the neighborhood and never had to worry about noise. As a random side note, whatever curtains she uses in the bedrooms are superior to any I’ve seen to keep sunlight out. Every morning when my alarm went off I would have thought it was still night time until I opened them. It’s so hard to find a space that is dark enough at night/early morning for me and I am so appreciative of the efforts she’s made to keep the space comfortable for relaxing and sleeping. I hope to stay again if she will have me!

This is our third year in a row staying at this property! It feels like coming home, every time. It’s peaceful, and still within walking distance of main attractions in the area (TVD fans here). The hosts are sweet and readily available for anything you may need. They even want to greet you when you pull up and help you unload - such a sweet touch!!

It was a pleasure staying here! Next time we come to Covington, we will definitely stay again!

Carnita’s place was wonderful. It was nice and cozy and very clean and comfortable. I was in love with the standing shower and decor! The smell of the bedding and pillows was amazing! Only downfall is of neighbors multiple dogs constant barking while you’re coming and going, didn’t really hear them any other time. I understand this isn’t Carnita issue so I’m not blaming, the place was great! We would stay again!

LOVED The Coop! With two girls at UGA, I’ve booked many overnight stays in and around Athens. Sherre’s place is my new favorite! The Coop is so beautifully decorated and it’s surroundings so peaceful. We were greeted by chickens and Teddy, Sherre’s handsome cat. You’re going to love it, too. Especially, the porch! The Coop is the place for you, if you enjoy friendly hosts, homemade banana bread with chocolate chips, bright & happy decorated spaces, and pure tranquility. Can’t wait to return!

Overall great space and perfect size for two people or a small family. Came into Athens for a wedding and was a short drive from Athens. Would stay here again.

Michael & Lydia's place is very welcoming and clean. It has everything you need for your stay from plenty of dishes, towels, silverware, washer & dryer, plenty of hot water, blankets, and a huge closet (bonus). We are building right down the road from the Airbnb, so it is perfect for us. Michael & Lydia are the nicest and most caring people you will meet. We love seeing the horses, cows, and donkey. We have fed them carrots and apples, and they love them. If you are ever looking for a place to stay when you are in the area, I would highly recommend staying here.

We could not say enough about our experience! Home was clean and beautiful. Bed was super comfy. Hosts were communicative and friendly. And the list goes on…highly recommended!
