Elke’s cottage is perfect and can handle a a family or a couple of happy travelers. From the lovely gardens to the spectacular view of the bay, to the soft flannel sheets and warm comforter, to the well-thought out kitchen space, spacious shower and bathroom, we felt right at home and enjoyed every minute of our stay. To behold the beautiful sunrise with a cup of hot coffee, and end the day with a spectacularly beautiful sunset and a glass of wine, all whilst gently rocking on the lawn swing, was my idea of heaven. Elke’s place is close to the royal albatross bird center and the OPERA reserve, and she gave us recommendations for local cafes and restaurants. This is a very quiet and peaceful place, and lovely to wake up to bird song every morning. I look forward to returning to this piece of heaven someday!

We felt at home there and could have stayed longer quite easily. There was a slight pet smell in the lounge room we noticed. Lovely spot, very quiet and peaceful surroundings. Modern with lovely bathroom and spacious kitchen. Beds were comfortable and water pressure in the shower was great. Emma was a responsive and friendly host. Would stay here again.

Absolutely beautiful location away from the hustle and bustle of the cities yet driveable to the local town which has all the amenities. My second at this AirBnB as I love it. My daughter loved the pet dog Bonnie and the chickens. We definitely return again!

Great spot on Waiheke island for a couple wanting a nice quiet spot for a week or a weekend trip. House is an easy walk to the beach and even a winery. Host have provided an amazing space and offer a wealth of information about the house and Waiheke. We feel that we only scratched the surface of the island. Definitely are considering coming back to stay in this place again when we decide to come back on Waiheke.

Awesome place to stay in Bulli. Plenty of space for a couple, short stroll to the beach and all the amenities you need. Would gladly stay again.

I would highly recommend this stay for anyone looking for a little getaway down on the peninsula. Secluded yet close to the necessities. 10/10

Aaron was very responsive and displayed concern when our flight got redirected. He constantly checked in and adjusted to the changes when we missed the van that was supposed to fetch us from the airport, made arrangements for our port pick up and some requests we made while at the place. The location was just right for what we wanted - not too far from the famous spots but also laid back and peaceful.We will definitely be back and book with IAO Surf Camp again next year!

We spent 4 days at the Mongoose Manor. It’s a great getaway from the hustle of the city. The views are spectacular from the deck where you will relax with the friendly resident cats! The design and layout of this tiny home is excellent! The hosts communicated well and were very friendly! Matt the owner set us up with a local tour operator that gave us a discount for staying there. We explored Captain Cook for Snorkelling and Manta Ray Night Dives. On top of that we saw Black Sand Beach, the erupting Volcano Volcano in the Park, Akaaka Falls, Rainbow Falls, the Southern most point in the USA with its yellow sand and a dozen other Beaches!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! Lots to do in the area!!

Great little place to stay… a little out of town but that’s exactly what we wanted. Communication was brilliant Check in was a breeze, and the host was flexible as we arrived very late… and the outside light was left on which was a nice gesture. Bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom facilities were great. Nice hot water, soft towels etc Highly recommended

A lovely oasis tucked away in a quiet spot, but close enough to walk to Thirroul beach, cafes, supermarket, etc. The studio was clean and was perfect for a short stay. Meeting Wilson was an added highlight!

Accommodation was very clean, well presented and designed, and it had everything we needed and more. We had a very comfortable, relaxing and easy break away with our two greyhounds here. The nearby park was a good spot to walk our dogs and only a short drive to the beach and cafes. Thank you Christelle!

Welcoming and comfy and love the outdoor area. Cleanliness wonderful and pantry supplies amazing. My furry friend was just as happy as myself and my daughter and we can’t wait to do it all again!

Very spacious, with a lot of amenities, laundry is a plus. The host provides a lot of extra, like oatmeal, soybeans milk, sun cream, bug spray. Great host!

The farm cottage was clean and comfortable and homely. The host was polite and communicative.

We had a very relaxing weekend retreat, the location is amazing. perfect place to get away from the busy city with out having to travel so far. Enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the peace of mind that the place gives you. Will visit again when given the chance :)

We had such a wonderful stay at this spacious and clean property! It was ideal for our large group, with two separate bedrooms that offered plenty of privacy, and a shared kitchenette that was perfect for preparing meals together. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the laundry, complete with detergent, was a great bonus. The house itself was spotless, and the surroundings were absolutely beautiful—so peaceful and surrounded by nature. Plus, it was only a 5-minute drive to downtown Kona, making it super convenient to explore the area. Everyone in our group had a fantastic time, and we all agreed that this place was perfect for our stay. Highly recommend it!
