Kahieluana is a magnificent home, every bit as elegant and well situated as it appears in the photographs. We had a large family group of ten adults and the property worked extremely well for us. Overall, the home was beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and entertaining. The large kitchen/dining and pool/lanai areas provided ample opportunities to congregate, but there was also plenty of space for everyone to find some quiet when they needed it! The house was very clean and fitted with many smart home conveniences, as well as a sonos sound system. The bedrooms were of ample size and the beds were very comfortable. Our family had a lot of fun with all of the sporting options available at the house: tennis, pool table, volleyball, paddleboarding & snorkeling etc. We swam quite a bit in beautiful Puako bay amidst many beautiful reef fish and numerous turtles. There is a dive company (blue wilderness) that operates out of the boat ramp adjacent to the house and they were fantastic. We did three dives with them plus a nighttime manta ray snorkel session and they were excellent. The beach at the house is not ideal for lounging, however, there are a number of wonderful sandy beaches very close to the house, including Hapuna and beach 69. Alternatively, you can drive the short distance to one of the resorts such as Mauna Kea or Mauna Lani where there are also excellent sandy beaches, restaurants and shopping available. Puako bay is fairly quiet and does not have the amenities that you'd find in one of the resorts, however, we found that to be a plus. Andy, Kim and house manager Leah were fantastic - always responsive and helpful. We'd recommend this place to anyone.

We had an unforgettable and wonderful holiday at The Ridge! The property is beautiful, peaceful, and the house is spacious and comfortable — perfect for a family getaway. The kids had so much fun and didn’t want to leave! Julie was incredibly warm and patient when welcoming us, and the entire team was very supportive and attentive throughout our stay. It made us feel truly at ease and cared for. Thank you to The Ridge team for providing such a lovely, cozy place for us to create special memories. We would love to come back again in the future!

Our family of 15 enjoyed Christmas at Tussie Mussie. The accommodation provided an excellent venue with spacious areas inside and out. Bedrooms and ensuites ensured privacy for all families. The lawn area was the prefect location for our annual cricket match and the tennis court provided an additional option for activity. Everyone had a great time. Thankyou for the wine, most generous.

Wonderful location and beautiful house with fantastic views at the number one snorkeling spot on Maui. Wake up and snorkel steps away from your deck before anyone else hits the beach. Close to Big and Little Beach and our favorite Secret Beach. Great food nearby too. House has everything you need to eat in or out. Lovely infinity pool and hot tub for lazy afternoons and your very own tiki bar for entertaining. Would absolutely rent it again. Mahalo!

Paradise and five star hospitality. This was our annual family holiday where we are all in. Eight adults and children so we need a very special and unique location and accommodation to meet the various needs of the group. By far our best trip ever. The house is a perfect set up for a big family or a couple of families, loads of space together and plenty of opportunity to chill on your own, Walking distance to everything or a short drive for the big shopping experience. The pool/spa set up is great for small kids and the experience on the water straight out front is amazing. Seals, turtles and plenty of fish and the added benefit of whale season. Kitchen setup is important for us as we all cook and we were not disappointed. Best of all though were our host who organized literally everything. From kayaks to paddle boards, restaurants and even the sunset whale watch sail. Nothing was too difficult and all happened fast and seamlessly. If you want the trip of a lifetime then this is it!!

Amazing house, amazing location , way above expectations, looking at the wild life all day!!! Sea turtles , Dolphin come by twice a day and a countless amount of whales , all the from the front patio. Thank you

This is a beautiful place in a beautiful location. It’s like living in a private garden with plenty of beautiful places for everyone. Room to hang out all together, or spaces for private contemplation. It does take quite a crew to maintain this place, and they are on top of it every minute. So many thanks to them! Every space has a lovely view. And Kathleen the property manager was wonderful to work with. We had whales breaching in our back yard every day! The only minus was quite a few mosquitoes and no-see-ums, but that was a minor irritation. We’d sure like to return!
