Walking distance to a local eatery/coffee shop/general store and only 12 minutes to Robina Town Centre on the Gold Coast and only about 20 minutes to the glorious beaches. We know you will have a great time if you are looking for charm, privacy, and great views amongst nature! Spend the afternoon exploring nature and the walking trails and then cosy up by the fireplace at night. It's possible to hike to the top of Bally Mountain. With multiple trails, you will be rewarded with panoramic views of the area. This unique two-storey, two-bedroom house is equipped with every possible amenity to make your stay a comfortable and memorable one. In addition to the large bedrooms that are all tastefully decorated and fitted with comfortable Queen sized beds, the house includes a bathroom with claw-foot tub/shower, a living room with a piano and fireplace, and an open kitchen – all laid out on two floors. The interior is tastefully furnished, harmoniously marrying the modern with traditional antique and rustic elements, all bathed in an abundance of natural light. The fully-equipped modern kitchen comes with refrigerator, oven, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, and all the utensils and crockery you need to cook your favorite dishes. Bathroom with slate floors and claw-foot bathtub/shower also includes a brand new washer/dryer. The cabin offers an amazingly large deck overlooking the rainforest and the fresh-water creek, and you can barbeque on the deck. A coffee shop and general store is within strolling distance, with Robina town centre 12 minutes away. No public transport, so a car is required. Natural lighting fills every room. The construction of this home was designed with special attention to every detail. The sinks are made from beautiful copper, all of the cabinets were made by a local furniture maker with beautiful native woods. There are so many cozy places throughout the home to lounge and rest and simply enjoy the incredible jungle views. From inside the home to out on the lanais (Hawaiian for balcony), you can rest comfortably. Do you need a soak in an over-sized jacuzzi tub with jets? If so, we have you covered. Enjoy your own personal spa experience in the master suite, which also has a walk-in shower, double sinks, and vanity area. Are you interested in exploring the abundance of local produce and fresh meats that Hawaii island has to offer? If so, we have all that you need in the kitchen to prepare local style feasts at home. You are also right in Hilo town and have easy access to some of the island's best restaurants. Both bedrooms have king sized foam mattresses with extra blankets and pillows. In the upstairs master suite, there is a little space for your computer or journaling or art or whatever you like. You also have an incredible private lanai from the master suite. The views from up here might just entice you to never leave. If you are down for a rugged little jungle hike, you can swim in the beautiful fresh water spring and get up close to the year-round waterfall. There is a palm tree-lined trail right from our property that will take you down there. You have complete access to the home, property, and beautiful - swimmable waterfall. We are currently living in California, but will provide you with our local contacts when your reservation is confirmed. Located in the Reed's Island neighborhood and surrounded on both sides by rivers, streams, and waterfalls—walk through the area and admire the historic homes. Hilo town and beaches are nearby, and the Volcano National Park is 30 minutes away. Hilo and East Hawaii is the perfect choice if you want to an authentic Hawaiian experience. You might also explore the world's most advanced telescopes on Mauna Kea and our gorgeous local brackish water black sand beaches. You will want a car to access the local destinations. Walking from the house is quite enjoyable, but more ideal for sight seeing. Please be advised that the yard is still a work in progress and is therefore a bit rugged to get around. Also, as our guest, you must accept 100% responsibility of your person and your possessions and release all liabilities from the homeowner.

Jacks_placeballarat. Original 1960s classic.

Step back in time to a hilltop house with views across the city through picture windows. Exposed brick and the extensive use of natural wood maintain a mid-century atmosphere, enhanced by period furnishings and gleaming softwood floors throughout. The House Manual provides information about Jack's, as we call our house. We do not host guests with accompanying pets and smoking on any part of the house and property is not acceptable. If these rules are not to your liking then please do not book. Jack's Place is an original 1960's architect designed house. A master bedroom with direct access to the bathroom (en-suite except it is the only one!). The second bedroom features jarrah flooring and exposed brick wall. The living area features a unique view across the City especially at night. Functional kitchen and laundry, air conditioning and heating. The rental terms are for the whole house but if a couple book then it is expected only one bedroom is used. On booking it is best to clarify if both bedrooms are required. If not we do not make up the second bed. Jack's Place is a free standing brick residence with its own car space. There is a walled courtyard and front lawn area/garden (yet to be fully developed ). Cate and I live behind Jack's Place and both properties share a driveway. Naturally the drive must be kept clear at all time. More than happy to be contacted with any questions relating to Ballarat in general, food, wine and things to do. This 1962 house is in Golden Point, an old area in the City of Ballarat, about 125 kilometers west of Melbourne. These days the architecture of the area varies from 1860s dwellings, California bungalows, and modern high-density residences. Ballarat's main street is Sturt St. It is about a ten minute walk to the town centre and less to major supermarkets. Parking in town is charged via meter all week. On the edge of the central business district parking is free. Parking around the restaurant area of Armstrong St is difficult. My advice is to walk to dinner and Uber home. Local buses are confusing. Only a few minutes away is The Grapes Hotel, friendly and reliable. Ballarat weather can be variable. I have no control over the weather! We are perched about 375 metres above sea level, cold in Winter and hot in Summer. Summer nights tend to cool down. To keep the house warm and you comfortable, draw the blinds and turn on the heating. There are electric panel heater available in the house. Be very aware that they are not suitable for use when young children are part of the guest party. To cool the house, draw the blinds, close all windows and unnecessary doors and set the cooling for 10C below the outside temperature.

The studio is perfect for quiet couples, solo travellers and business people. Safe and secure, the studio is bathed in morning and late afternoon sun so is cosy and warm. Heat pump for your comfort whatever the season. Beautiful Mount beach is just across the road. Beach gear available on request. Perfectly positioned to walk into town or stop along the way at some top cafes and restaurants. Back to the studio and you transition from the large deck through sliding glass doors to an interior that's designed for total relaxation. Refresh in a sparkling white bathroom and soak in a designer bathtub before bedtime. Kitchenette for tea and coffee making, microwave and small bar fridge. No cooktop. For your arrival there is a selection of NZ tea’s, coffee, hot chocolate, cereal, milk and juice in the studio. On-site parking available for one car. Big screen smart TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime and the usual free to air streaming. Fast high speed unlimited WIFI. A five minute walk to Central Parade shops, Fife Lane Restaurant, Tay Street Cafe and Store, Bay Oval and Blake Park. Also a handy five minute drive to Bayfair and Baypark. Enhanced cleaning and sanitising between guests as per Air BnB guidelines. Parking available on site. We (Shirley & Jim) live upstairs with our small dog Louie. We are around if you need a hand, would like some breakfast, dinner or tourist tips. Otherwise, we will respect your privacy and leave you to enjoy your stay. The studio is on Marine Parade, directly opposite Mount Maunganui Beach. Blake Park, Bay Oval, and various shops and great cafes at Central Parade are about a 5-minute walk. It's a quick drive to the Mount, airport, Bayfair Shopping Centre and Trust Power Baypark. Just an hour drive will have you to Whakatane, Rotorua and Hobbiton. Check in and check out times may be adjusted to suit your travel arrangements on request. Luggage drop/storage also available on request.

Luxury Suite Enjoying Spectacular Sea Views and Sunsets

We have an array of things to do with local cafes, fishing club, kayaking, paddle boarding, golf and tennis clubs, and great walks all on our doorstep. Want to do a day trip to the Wairarapa region we can help. The apartment is totally self contained and has its own private access. It also enjoys its own deck, luxury bathroom and kitchen. A king sized bed is the icing on the cake. We can provide meals as required. We can help you with any travel planning throughout New Zealand - and arrange your itinerary. We can take you on day trips to our local wine region if desired and drop off and pick you up from the central city of tequired. Nothing is too much trouble. If you would like a picnic packed we can do that too. Set in a modest seaside village outside of Wellington, the property is a short walk or drive away from a number of cafes, pubs, and acclaimed fish and chips spots. The beach is just steps away. We are a 25 minute train ride to central Wellington or the kapiti coast. We have kayaks, bikes, fishing gear, paddle board available.
