We wanted to visit Lewis Farm so I started to look for Airbnb’s in the surrounding area. I’m so glad I decided on this cabin! As soon as we arrived my husband said “wow this is right up your alley - look how clean it is!” It was truly immaculate! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for ourselves. We utilized the firewood that was provided and the charcoal grill. It had a great front porch to have our coffee on and relax. My toddler loved running around the large yard! Lake Michigan is just a short distance away and the sunsets were magical. So much to do within 20 minutes or so of this cabin! We want to make it a tradition to visit every year. Thanks for our stay :)

We were in Pentwater for a wedding and this property was perfect for our stay. Convenient to the downtown and in a nice neighborhood everything was as described in the listing. The owners were very professional and courteous, and the communication was excellent..

The Ultimate Lake House. Waterfront, private dock

We stayed during the "off" season so lots of activities, shops and places to eat were closed. We didn't mind too much because we were looking for a relaxing and peaceful stay. It has to be amazing during the warmer months when you can take advantage of being outside and in the water. Since the house is right on the lake, we had beautiful views. I was lucky enough to catch an amazing sunrise. "The Sandlot" was exactly what you think of when you think family lakehouse. Rustic, cozy and charming. It felt very homey. The house was one of the cleanest places we've ever stayed. The only issue we had were so many trips up and down the stairs. If you have any mobility issues like me, (bad knee) then you must be careful on the stairs. They can be kind of slippery in socks.

This place is FANTASTIC! Would definitely stay again! Danielle let us know in advance all we needed to know including the apple/barbeque festival going on (I'm positive if we had a problem which we did not that she would have been on top of it)! She is within walking distance to Mac's Dune Rides & more! The kayaking was also PERFECT! Peaceful surroundings! LOVE this place and highly recommend!!!!!

This is a gem! I love well organized and well designed spaces. Attention to detail was everywhere. If anything was amiss, Libbie gave me a heads up well before ever arriving (e.g. the front door may need a little extra shove to open). I want to come back and page through more of the books on the shelves and enjoy some warmer days in the deck and screened in porch. I told Libbie what I was interested in doing the area as it was my first time to Pentwater. Even in the off-season, she has lots of suggestions for where to go eat, window shop, hike and bike. Absolutely adorable and super kind host!

One of, if not the cleanest Airbnb we’ve been to. Everything was ready/easily accessible in the home, didn’t have to worry about missing/going out for anything. Area was really quiet and peaceful, however the bedrooms were close to/facing the road where the occasional car could be heard (1-2 cars per night). Overall had a great time staying here, would definitely recommend and possibly rebook in the future.

Kathleen was a wonderful host and helped us feel at home in her home. We were welcomed with a handwritten card and fresh cinnamon rolls. Her place felt cozy from the start! Her communication was excellent and she responded quickly to our questions. We enjoyed our retreat time at the farmhouse and also walked the beach at Lake Michigan just a few miles away. We also loved the fireplace. We highly recommend Kathleen’s place and would definitely return!

The house is in great condition and meticulously clean. The master bath is lovely! Beds were comfortable, even the sofa bed. It's just a little outside of town on a shady road. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, visiting the sand dunes and kayaking on Lake Michigan. I highly recommend staying in this house.

Writing this review, with considerable jet lag, I can say the only feedback prompt I paused on was "value." This wasn't a cheap week. But seriously, it shouldn't have be. This is a large, well appointed property in a seriously beautiful lake country setting. Moreover, it's a real house for real people, not a beige/grey generic airbnb-fab unit created for the purpose of a revenue stream. Also- If you are a client with a boat/boat aspirations, don't think twice. This place is awesome.

My now fiancé and I stayed here during what I know now was my engagement vacation. This house is small but a perfect size for 2-3 people (sleeps 2 comfortably), genuinely our only “complaint” was that the hot water doesn’t last super long and it turns cold very fast. So just plan to take shorter showers and you’ll be perfect! Close to the beach and everything we wanted to do on our trip. All things considered like the space, price, and the quality of our stay, we would absolutely stay here again and feel like it’s the best deal a couple could find. The host responds fast and was super nice when we forgot our bedsheets at home on the other side of the state. Genuinely zero complaints and would love to stay here again.

This is probably by far the BEST air bnb I have ever stayed at, it was so clean and so beautiful, I would definitely stay again. Travis was a great host and I would most definitely stay here again. The cleanest, nicest place I have ever stayed at by far. Will definitely be back!
