We are close to Silver Lake Sand Dunes but with plenty of peace and quiet, our 2-bedroom apartment is a 7-minute drive to the heart of Silver Lake and features an outdoor firepit and beautiful views of our pond and property. We had a wonderful stay at "The Lodge." The house was really nice and clean. It was very welcoming and had everything you could think of, including anything you might have forgotten. Our favorite part was hanging out by the fire in the evening and enjoying all the stars you can see! We saw multiple shooting stars and a glimpse of the Northern Lights. Thank you so much, Lisa for letting us enjoy your home for the weekend!

Thanks Dawn and Seth for sharing this amazing space with my family. This was my bday weekend, I have this road trip tradition and by far this was my favorite place. The road trips are for me to clear my city girl head and get to relax. This place was that and so much more. Not only did they share their incredible, cozy space but also had this Boat shed with lots of things that made it Soo much more fun. The paddle boat was something I was very impressed by, the fully stock coffee station was my Puerto Rican mom’s favorite thing and my daughter loved going on walks through the forest. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was beautiful, the view of the sun set was like in the movies. It was very clean, very stocked and the fire pit was perfect with wood already provided. If you do visit this location, please sit on the wooden chair by the sand and look up. The stars are memorizing.

Thank you for the great accommodations, beautiful home and a great location! We loved being minutes from Silver Lake Sand Dunes for riding, Pentwater for fishing and Lundington for the huge crafter market! The home was amazing and the lay out perfect for our family! The deck, grill, yard, firepit and driveway access all meet our needs! You were a highly responsive, attentive host! 10 out of 10 recommend and we will definitely rent again! Many thanks again!

The Ultimate Lake House. Waterfront, private dock

We stayed during the "off" season so lots of activities, shops and places to eat were closed. We didn't mind too much because we were looking for a relaxing and peaceful stay. It has to be amazing during the warmer months when you can take advantage of being outside and in the water. Since the house is right on the lake, we had beautiful views. I was lucky enough to catch an amazing sunrise. "The Sandlot" was exactly what you think of when you think family lakehouse. Rustic, cozy and charming. It felt very homey. The house was one of the cleanest places we've ever stayed. The only issue we had were so many trips up and down the stairs. If you have any mobility issues like me, (bad knee) then you must be careful on the stairs. They can be kind of slippery in socks.

Paul was a great host and was very accommodating to our needs. The house was great and had more than enough to keep the kids entertained and enough utensils to cook a full meal. The beach was easy to access and views were amazing. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a different experience from the norm.
