Beach house vacation rentals in Ocean View Beach

We stayed here over spring break with our young kids. Tommy and Janet were very friendly and responsive. The location is great! Literally right across the street from the beach, and close to our all time favorite brewery :) we'd love to come back again in the summer months!

Beautiful home within walking distance to everything you need, especially the beach and restaurants. Clean home with cozy feel. My son never wanted to leave the beautiful pool at the property. Would recommended to families!!

I absolutely loved staying at David’s place with my family. It was even better than it looked online. IT was so spacious and convenient. There were even toys for my baby and games for the family. We literally stepped out the back door and onto the walkway for the beach. Everything we needed to enjoy a comfortable stay was there in the house. I will definitely be coming to this Airbnb each time I come to Virginia Beach.

Great spot near the beach and town and close enough that you can walk to both. Home was very clean, updated, and well appointed, but still had the charm of a beach cottage. Kitchen had all we needed for cooking and the front porch was perfect for relaxing and watching our kids bike and scooter up and down the sidewalk. Anna was so responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We hope to come back again soon.

Jade & Nathan were great host. Their home was beautiful and exactly what we needed for our trip. My only recommendation is to come with your own cookware if you’re into cooking. They had plenty of kitchen items that I just had to make work. Other than that the neighborhood was peaceful. The kids enjoyed the pool area it was actually warm temperature and the view behind the house was one of the most amazing parts. I will definitely be back.

The property is ideal for family gatherings. It is very well equipped if you wish to make meals. The large living room is well arranged for group conversations, even close enough to the kitchen to includ those working in the kitchen. My wife and I were there with our Navy son, our two daughters and our son in law. We had a grand time reminiscing and sharing individual updates well into the night. The baths were well equipped, including very fluffy towels. The beds were comfortable with quality linens. Everything was spotlessly clean. Betty was very responsive and helpful, and was quick to respond to information requests. If you are looking for a spacious and comfortable, clean place to stay in Norfolk, I recommend Bay Dream Cottage.

This place was perfect for the kids and parents and grandparents. We enjoyed our stay here walking distance to the beach was perfection. It was so peaceful, clean and spacious. We enjoyed the downstairs yard & patio area. We didn’t get to use the bbq grill but next time we stay here we will. Beautiful home. Thank you

Our stay was amazing and the house fit our needs perfectly. It was super clean and decorated beautifully. The walk to the beach was quick and easy and the location of the house is nice and quiet and away from the crowds and traffic! It's also a quick drive to the convention center and many restaurants and shops. It was also nice not having to pack so much extra beach stuff to bring along (chairs, wagon, etc) because they had it all available to use. My kids loved the pool, playing Jenga on the porch and corn hole outside. My husband and older son took the bikes out for a spin too. We had a few questions before and during the stay and Bradley was very responsive and helpful every time. We will definitely stay here again if we head back to Virginia Beach next year! Nate was very responsive from booking , all the way through our stay. He was very flexible due to our circumstances and juggling vacation with 2 young children and 2 labradors. I would recommend this home to anyone with a family or pets as it offers the interior space that cape Charles historic homes lack while maintaining the same proximity to the town’s attractions.

I had a fantastic experience staying at Sandbridge Stay. The property was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location was perfect, close to beach, but still quiet and peaceful for a good night’s rest.

We enjoyed our stay at The Great Escape! Most of our time was spent in the private pool and fishing from the yard into the canal. The walk to the beach was quick and easy. We loved how quiet and safe the neighborhood was. The house had all the amenities we needed- it felt like a home away from home. Kim was a great host supplying us with lots of recommendations and was quick to resolve any problems. We hope to visit again in the future!

Staying here was the perfect way to spend a couple days relaxing with friends. We had an amazing time and all we could talk about was how amazing the place was. 10/10 would definitely stay again!

Denise is so sweet, she packed the kitchen with water, coffee, fruit and snacks. She even messaged me to check on me when I was out late, knowing that I traveled there alone. I felt so cared for and would recommend and use her location again. Hopefully Soon, Thanks for everything❣️

This rental property was the ideal spot for our family reunion of 16, ages 8 to 78. This was one of the most well-equipped properties we have stayed at. We have stayed at several rental properties in Sandbridge Beach, VA in previous years, and this is our favorite. The kitchen was well equipped and stocked with essentials (coffee, sugar, creamers, paper towels, toilet paper, regular and beach towels, etc.) The kids loved the game room and outdoor pool. The adults enjoyed the hot tub and ping pong room. Two big dining tables easily accommodated our group size (8 adults at one and 8 kids at the other). The beds and pillows were all comfortable. Amy, the Operations Manager, was most helpful and very responsive to any of our questions. We plan to return to this property sometime in the future. Definitely a 5-star experience for everyone in our family.

Loved our visit to the house! Had plenty of space. The location was awesome and close to the beach. Host was very responsive, friendly and accommodating. We will be staying again on our next trip!

Check in was easy and flexible. This place was an easy walk to the boardwalk and the surrounding area was quiet and peaceful. Worked well for a long weekend!

It was a great place and me and my friends were glad to have found a place like it in the location. Jeff and Randi were extremely helpful in explaining exactly what we needed to do to get in as well as steps we needed to take before leaving the house. We were very pleased.

Great place for a summer vacation, we got the place for our family visiting from abroad for our wedding and they loved it son much. Great restaurant are nearby. Definitely recommend it.

Had a great stay with 6 adults and 2 kids. Proximity to the beach was nice! The exit instructions were low key. The house looked like the pictures and was clean. A great stay for our family!

Very clean! Clean sheets left out, clean towels, clean floors, and the cherry on top was the wall outlet air fresheners full with scented oils which made walking into the Airbnb very satisfying after a long day of venturing out. A binder is left there describing a list of attractions for those who don’t research ahead of time. The length of the walk to the beach is exactly how it’s described. Very family friendly location to stay at. Last thing is the communication with the Airbnb host. By far the best I’ve experienced. Respectful, friendly, and incredibly fast response times to any questions. Thank you to Schuyler, and family for letting us stay here!
