Newly built apartment in idyllic village with about 1000 inhabitants. Located right on the Swiss border. Very close is the largest waterfall in Europe, the Rhine Falls. Ideal hiking and biking paradise. Pure nature. Water sports in and on the Rhine (swimming, diving, paddling, etc.). Large parking space right in front of the apartment. Long-term guests up to 3 months are also welcome to welcome you. A place where you just feel really comfortable!

We are a family who runs the farm ourselves and look forward to welcoming guests in our specially furnished guest room. A dog and cats as well as a few chickens currently live on our farm. We are also constantly thinking about acquiring more animals. There are numerous dirt roads for hikes. The Thur and the Rhine are within reach and beautiful bike tours can be made. We are happy to help with planning activities.

We had such a great time at the apartment. It was very well furnished with a pool table, darts, foosball, a trampoline, and also many toys and items for younger children’s if needed. The kitchen had all the dishes, silverware, cutlery, and items needed to cook at home if desired. The village was small, quiet, and very relaxing. There is a nice restaurant we tried on the lake front that was very good within walking distance. The lake is very close by, and we enjoyed walking the trails and paths in the area. I would highly recommend for your next stay.

The attention to detail... A very charming apartment renovated with a lot of love for detail and very tastefully decorated. Dorine personally welcomed us and showed us everything. The refrigerator was already filled, so we did not lack fresh bread or milk - thank you very much! We were able to spend a few really nice days in Marthalen, in which Dorine and Patrick as great hosts played a significant role. Thank you for everything, we had a great time with you!
