The bedroom is small but comfortable, with spaces so you can unpack your belongings, the kitchen dining bar and sink are in open but covered areas (it overlooks the photographs) In the colony there are many grocery stores, a market, truck stop nearby and downtown the CD is 20 min away

It is a very nice apartment with everything you need to spend comfortably with the family. Xoxocotlán is a very picturesque village and very close to the center of Oaxaca (10 minutes).

My wife and I stayed at Edgar's place for seven nights during the Day od the Dead festivities. Edgar is a very nice host, always there if you need him. His place is very nice and roomy with a full kitchen, nice dining area and living room with TV and Netflix. The bedroom is very big and the beds are comfortable. The place is very well located near local markets, the zocalo where many of the activities were held and the Place of the Danza where many other activities were held. Many of the important churches were nearby. Everything was in walking distance. It is a very convenient location. We had a great time in Oaxaca and we recommend Edgar's place to whoever wants to visit this interesting area. Thank you Edgar. Mike.

Rafael’s place was lovely—spacious and just as pictured. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the city center, but we didn’t mind the distance. We used the Didi app for transportation, which was both affordable and convenient. Rene was very responsive to our questions, and though there was a brief issue with the water supply, it was promptly addressed. Overall, we had a great experience.

She went above and beyond, offering us the best tips and recommendations on where to eat ( gluten free food - as I have food restrictions), shop, and explore in Oaxaca. We had such a wonderful stay at Casa Tilantongo - thank you for being such amazing hosts. The moment we arrived it felt like home - beautiful flowers on the table, water and snacks in the kitchen. Lots of thoughtful details to make for a comfortable stay for 6 weeks with our children, and such a fresh and modern space. The kitchen is well equipped and a great space for preparing food. Senora Paty, who comes and takes care of the plants/garden and patio areas is so lovely and does a great job. We loved being a bit out of Centro and supporting the local community businesses. Fresh tortillas around the corner everyday, fresh queso up the road, and the tastiest tortes not far and elotes coming past at night. Plus can’t forget Raices y Tierra across the road for delicious tacos and tlayudas! We made use of the local buses often and taxis to Centro which was affordable. A favourite air bnb! we hope to come back again to stay here (Oaxaca is amazing) as is Casa T!
