FYI The Loft bedroom and TV room are located upstairs from the kitchen (Please bring your own food for meals! ) and bathroom are on the bottom floor! Recently add washer and dryer system! Located one hour from Omaha in the scenic Loess Hills of Iowa, this newly remodeled studio apartment above the garage has a large deck and a beautiful valley view overlooking my hometown. With a queen bed, a pull-out sofa, full kitchen, shower in bathroom, laundry, and gas fireplace, the apt. is attached by an elevated deck to the main house, my childhood home, (which my husband and I call our "Hilltop Hospitality House"). We are excited to welcome gracious guests to this lovely space.

Conveniently located just 30 minutes from downtown Omaha, as well as within a quick drive to numerous state parks. There is even an external electrical hook up for campers. Finally, our grain bin includes 20 acres of the Loess Hills to explore. We recommend hiking to the top of the ridge for sunset. It's breath taking.

The house was secluded with no neighbors and a private drive. It was very peaceful with beautiful scenery. The ramp and first floor bedrooms were super convenient. My family loved the giant recliners and comfy beds! The yard was huge for my kids to play in and Larkin let us use the hose which was awesome! We had a great stay!

This place was very easy to find. It was cute and quaint. It was very close to all of the hiking trails that we wanted to check it. Melanie was always responsive when I reached out to her. She was very helpful and kind. The place was clean and even had a mini crib that we could use for our 7 month old! I would definitely recommend this place!!
