Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Oak Hill

it was a pleasure staying at Kelly's listing. she's wonderful to work with and her rental is beautiful. we had a very much needed weekend get-away among friends. lots of hiking, relaxation, and lots of laughs thanks to having such a great place to call home for our weekend adventure. thank you Kelly!

The cottage on Vaglio is lovingly appointed throughout with a beautifully equipped kitchen and baths. We enjoyed outdoor evenings on the covered porch, even during some passing showers. A delightful retreat for our group of three!

Perfect location for exploring Fayetteville and New River Gorge! Such a great trip. Caleb was responsive and kind! Little slice of paradise for anyone looking to get away :)

My only suggestion and I don’t really even know how to word it.. I had no idea how many people it could “sleep.” People should know that you could sleep quite a few people there. I don’t think it would be fun to hang out with as many people inside of the house, it’s not huge and not for that. There are so many amazing paths for walking and exploring! We had a GREAT time! Thank You!

We loved the location and the amenities of this house. It was super clean, beautifully decorated, and met all of our needs. Beds were comfortable. When it rained outside, we couldn't hear it inside. I would definitely stay again.

Our stay at Kenny’s was amazing. Located in a quiet setting, the home was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and everything was well thought out. Kenny’s recommendations regarding restaurants and activities were spot on. We were very excited to find Celiac friendly places in Fayetteville—a bakery (Wylde Berry) and great GF Pizza (Pies & Pints). We will definitely plan to return to this gem!

Troy and Hilary’s place was in an awesome location, close to great restaurants, and the National Park. We only had to drive 10 minutes or less to the majority of the attractions that interested us. They were also super helpful with ideas of restaurants and things to do and responded immediately with any questions we had. The neighborhood was quiet and the house was comfortable and clean. Check in and check out was a breeze. All in all a great experience! Definitely recommend!

Tucked back in a little holler along a quiet, crystal clear river, this cottage is a lovely gem to kick back and relax in after spending the day enjoying the breathtaking beauty of the local area. And there's so much to do in the region, especially if you're the outdoorsy type, and this place is close to all of the cool stuff you'll want to do. There's also plenty of nature just sitting on the back porch (if you're lucky, maybe the neighbour's chickens will come visit). We didn't rent the kayaks this time around, but we definitely will next time. Indoors, you'll find comfortable furnishings, a roomy and modern kitchen, washer and dryer, three bedrooms (with very comfy beds) and nice linens. And bonus! The bathtub is deep enough to actually take a bath in! Everything is clean and neat, decent parking, and so much better than any hotel. Michael is quick to respond if you have any questions, and gives you your privacy if you don't. A good host. 😊

Highly recommend staying here! The location has great access to surrounding outdoor recreational areas and isn't too far from town. It's quiet, comfortable, clean, and decorated really nicely (in my opinion). Teddy, the store owner, is also really friendly and responsive. We were very comfortable in the space as a group of 4. Places with more than 1 bathroom are harder to come by for the area, so it was nice to have the extra 1/2 bath. In terms of accessibility: The parking/outdoor area is gravel, grass, and stepping stones. There are stairs to get inside, and more stairs inside to get up to the main area. The full bathroom has a large shower.

I loved staying here! It is in a quiet location (just the occasional train passing by!) and right on the river. Amy has everything you need to be comfortable in the space. I loved every minute of my stay!

This was a great stay for us! Enough space for all of us to hang out comfortably, especially with access to the porch. We had a great time; Hinton is am underrated town, and the area is gorgeous.

Great location for exploring New River Gorge. All around good spot for 2 people!

The place was spotless. The location was close to whitewater rafting, trails, restaurants, and stores. It was private and quiet. We did get to see deer and hummingbirds right outside the window. It was very well equipped with washer and dryer. The king bed was very comfortable along with the pull out couch. The bathroom was absolutely beautiful, clean, and roomy. The local art and photography the place was decorated with was a nice touch and beautiful. Host responded very quickly and very helpful for any of our needs. This place exceeded our expectations, would definitely stay here again.

The condo was very well kept. We planned on eating out for most of our meals, but the kitchen was a little tight if there were multiple people in there at the same time. Not a bad thing, just something we noticed. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a great time at Linda’s place! The cabin was so charming and very very clean! The coffee bar and collection of games/toys for kids were a great touch. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing place, really close to New River Gorge for any of the hikes, trails, rock climbing etc. House was great and quick responses from the host.

We loved our stay at the cabin! It was just as described and perfect for a long weekend trip. We enjoyed the screened in porch and the fire pit out back the most. Although there are other houses around, it feels very secluded and private. We would definitely stay again!

This was a great stay that was right next to Hawks Nest State Park and within 10 minutes or so of the northern part of New River Gorge National Park. We prefer to cook our own food when we travel and this place had a nice little kitchen and charcoal grill. I would maybe suggest adding either an extra table inside or a picnic table outdoors just to have a bit more surface space for food prep but otherwise no complaints. The hot tub was very relaxing after lots of hiking. Hoping to return to the area and stay here again next year.

Such a cute little cabin!! It was a perfect stop while we were driving thru unplanned. Only item to note is the fishing tournament does go til 1a on Fridays!

Julie is a great host! She was quick to respond to our questions and very helpful. All house instructions were clear and readily available in a host book. Also had a book that listed local restaurants along with their menus, extremely helpful. The house is very family friendly! The setting of the house is private but close to stores, restaurants and activities surrounding the New River Gorge National Park. Laundry facilities were excellent, loved the two dryers! We felt right at home from the very beginning and have already recommended the house to friends and family.
