Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Our place is on a little dirt road with a beautiful view of the sun rising over the mountains and horses grazing in the field. Off the main road approximately 1/10 of a mile with no traffic in front of the house. Beautiful backyard with a fire pit and grill, also corn hole for outdoor fun. No nosy neighbors, but the sound of children playing nearby. Just minutes away from rafting, mountain climbing and new river gorge

When visiting the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve, stay at this quaint stone cottage less than a mile off of Route 19 in downtown Oak Hill, WV. Things to Note: This little cottage has skylights upstairs, so light floods into this space from sunrise to sundown. Also, the mattress is firm. Finally, the hot water is provided via a tankless hot water heater, which has been known to cause water temperature variability.

Newly renovated cottage in the heart of the New River Gorge National Park. The cottage has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen, laundry room and living room. We are seconds off of route 19 and 5 minutes from Ace Adventure Resort, the New River Gorge Bridge or the Boy Scout Welcome Center. There is a fire pit to enjoy in the evening. We are located 40 minutes from Winterplace Ski Resort with easy access to route 19 and I77.

We are minutes away from many of the major attractions in the area including: rafting companies (i.e. ACE and Adventures on the Gorge, and River Expeditions), hiking, shops, and restaurants. We are located within the city of Oak Hill so no crazy backroads or surprises : ) Relax on our back porch, around the firepit, or inside in the air conditioning after a great day of having fun!
