The "caseiros" — the family that took care of the farm where our organic wine is currently grown — lived in this house. Restored in 2013, the old kitchen space with its "lareira", oven and stone sink was preserved, now a cool space to read, play or take a nap. The two open floors overlook the Miño River valley, which separates us from Portugal. Upstairs, to sleep or read; downstairs, where the animals used to be, to cook or go out to the small garden.

Maria has very creatively and personally decorated this charming place. She is a very attentive and helpful host. There are cozy outdoor areas and outdoor kitchen, which unfortunately due to bad weather we didn't get to take advantage of. On the other hand, it was good to get to the nearby thermal bath.

10 wonderful days at Virginia's, a beautiful person available, responsive and so attentive to her guests while respecting privacy. The hamlet is charming, surrounded by nature with a refreshing pool in the middle of summer. We also loved the 2 cuddly cats 🐈😻 On the material aspects (bedding, terrace, utensils...), everything is perfect. 👌🏼 Ourense (3rd city of Galicia) is 1/2 hour drive and Vigo and its beaches are 1h30. Beautiful discovery of Galicia for us, magnified by Virginia's superb accommodation and her kindnesses. 🪭🌿🌟 Calm, rest and creativity 🎏

Super flirty place to visit as a couple . Very cozy, cuckoo and taking care of every last detail . Super clean . With all kinds of details to make a great stay. Wonderful views of the river . It has all kinds of utensils in the kitchen and other rooms of the house . Very comfortable. We visited Ribadavia with our pet who really enjoyed the huge plot of the house . Ribadavia is beautiful , a medieval corner worth visiting . Finally , our host , Victorio , attentive at all times for us to enjoy our holidays. A super host and their place highly recommended . Where we really felt at home ☺️ Alexandre cannot receive us in person but the check in was done in a very practical way. The location is fantastic for those who want a few days out of reality. We found everything extremely clean, tidy and very cozy. Comfortable bed/sofa and ideal space to rest. Very nice outdoor area with a great view. We loved everything, especially the "treats" on arrival for breakfast and of course Zarco loved the snacks as well. Of those places that although we have a lot to know around, we just want to stay in the coziness 😊

This was just a perfect apartment overlooking the historic Roman bridge crossing the river. The location is magical. I had several wonderful meals from Tres Sete and Burguesia and they are so close to the apartment. I also loved my spa treatments at Termas de Chaves, which is a five minute walk away. I stayed 3 nights and wish it I could have stayed longer. Chaves is a very cute city and this was a very great place to stay. I didn't really use the kitchen but it has everything you could want. I hope to return again soon.
