This is truly a fantastic place. It is an old totally renovated fishery. The size is 180 square meters, and the pier is 200 squares. The house has everything you need and appears today as a new exclusive modern house. It has 2 bath, bathtub, 4 bedrooms with a big (200cm x180cm) nice bed, modern kitchen, very good WIFI, 65" TV, washing machine and dryer, and an exclusive sauna. Rorhuset ligger i vakre fiskeværet Straumsjøen

Nyt et minneverdig opphold på dette unike stedet. Rorhuset ligger helt i havkanten med en fantastisk utsikt over havet. Det er gangavstand til kyststien i Bø i Vesterålen, vandretur ut mot Atlanterhavet langs åpent hav forbi fyrlykter og under bratte Vesterålsfjell. Sortland ligger 45 min kjøring fra hytte. Skagen flyplass 1 1/2 time kjøretur unna. Harstad/Narvik lufthavn, Evenes ligger tre timer kjøring unna. Hytta har to soverom og en hemst, Tv, fult utstyrt kjøkken. Plassen er en unik perle.

My husband and I started our project in 2017 and finished it in the end of July 2024. A genuine and cozy house from 1900 with an amazing atmosphere and view. The Blue House is an optimal base for hiking, skiing, kayaking, snowshoe trekking and mountaineering. Fishing in the lakes or in the sea is right outside the door. Maps, first aid kit are available free of charge. The house is just renovated, and painted in colors chosen by the “blue city” artist, Bjørn Elvenes. Charger for electric cars is available for an extra fee.

It is a perfect base for leisure activities such as bicycling, sea kayaking, hiking and fishing or to just relax and play in the garden. In wintertime (from September) you will have the opportunity to spectacular views of the northern light just outside the cabin. In the barn there are both pool and ping-pong at your disposal.

Right by secluded beach facing spectacular mountains, perfect for hiking, fishing or just slow living under the midnight sun or northern lights. Wood-fired sauna (extra cost) and two small canoes (not in use autumn/winter) for guests. Several design classics from the 1960's and selected personal objects give the house a distinct look and atmosphere.

Wir (zwei Großeltern, eine Vierjährige und ihre Mutter) haben eine wunderschöne Woche in Ninas Haus verbracht. Das Haus liegt wunderbar am Hang und bietet fantastische Ausblicke in alle Richtungen. Nina war eine äußerst zuvorkommende, aufmerksame und freundliche Gastgeberin und im Kontakt sehr zuverlässig und hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und wir haben es sehr sauber und gepflegt vorgefunden. Im Haus haben wir viele Anregungen für Unternehmungen in der näheren Umgebung vorgefunden, es gab zahlreiches Info-Material und eine wunderbar ausgestattete Küche. Alle Kontakte im Ort und mit Ninas Familie waren äußerst freundlich. Wir hatten tolle Wanderungen und fantastische Tier- und Naturerlebnisse direkt vor der Haustür und am Fenster. Wir können Nina als Gastgeberin und das Haus sowohl in Hinsicht auf die fantastische Umgebung als auch auf gemütliche Stunden im Haus bedingungslos weiterempfehlen und würden sehr sehr gerne noch einmal wiederkommen.

Tore and Francine were amazing hosts! Tore speaks 6 languages so even my daughter the only speaks French could understand what was said. The surroundings are just completely incredible! Soo beautiful! The cabin we rented was very tiny for sure but it was the perfect size for a father and his daughter. My daughter wanted to stay longer. She liked it that much! So did I! Hopefully one day we'll get the chance to go back there!

We loved staying in the house and fell in love with the view out of the window of the upper floor. We could even see the midnight sun from the balcony. Everything was clean and it was very quiet. Also the surrounding offers many wonderful views, hiking baths and wonderful beaches. Waralak was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed very much being her guests. Thank you very much for being with you! It was super great 😁

God valuta for leiepris. God kommunikasjon og hyggelig vert. Alt du trenger i leiligheten og en av verdens fineste utsikter . Flotte turmuligheter og du kjører forbi butikken på veien ut, så det er lett å handle. Anbefales!
