Cabin vacation rentals in Nuwara Eliya

A real hide out of the inhabited world! There are 4 cabins of which 3 are the same and the one we were in was one of a kind! Booked through Airbnb… Recommended for a special stay in the somewhat cold city (15 to 22 degrees) Nuwera Eliya!

Dana is a great host! It was a lovely cabin. Would recommend to all my friends. So helpful and responsive. The Hot tub was the highlight! Loved the cabin. Also Prabha was so sweet to make us tasty meals whenever we wanted :)

Dana is a marvellous young host. Very helpful and keen to please. The Lady he works with cooked us the most delicious meal in the evening. Highly recommend 😊

The food was absolutely incredible – we’ve traveled all over Sri Lanka, but we have never had anything as delicious as what you prepared for us. Truly unforgettable! Your place is by far the most beautiful accommodation we have ever stayed in, and we felt so at home. We also absolutely loved our time in the hot tub – it was the perfect way to relax and enjoy the stunning surroundings. Dana, you have created something truly special here. You have taken something simple and turned it into something extraordinary – a place full of warmth, beauty, and magic. Most of all, you both are such wonderful and kind-hearted people, and we are so grateful for your hospitality. We will definitely come back one day🥳!

A great place to stay with a beautiful atmosphere and stunning surroundings. While getting there can be a bit challenging—as mentioned in the description—the moment you arrive, the room and the scenery more than make up for it. One small suggestion would be to add a mirror in the living area, as it was a bit inconvenient having to go to the washroom every time. Overall, it’s definitely worth the price. We had a wonderful stay and would love to visit again. Highly recommended!

Great hosts (the whole family lives next door), very responsive. Help arrange transport, food order and delivery, even washed my laundry. The location is a bit remote. While you can walk to the lake in 15-20 minutes, the town with most of the shops is on the other side and is a 7 km walk (a nice walk that we did once), so realistically you need a tuk tuk to get around. The host recommended a very nice tuk tuk driver (Mr. Gamake), who we used every day. The design of the cabin of is nice, but the built quality (of the older) cabin is not great. If possible, ask to stay in the newly built cabin nearest the house, which is class better than the other ones. The cabins sit in a small garden with beautiful flower beds. At night, you can easily see the milky way galaxy on clear nights.
