Monthly Rentals in Nukkumajoki

The cabin is very nice and cozy, Aino and Anna are very good hosts, they are very responsive and gave us good tips on what to do in the area. One evening we were lucky to watch northern lights from their pier, which was wonderful, while sitting on reindeer skin :) We also went ice fishing with Aino and Anna and rented some skiing equipment which was a good activity to do during our stay :) Aino and Anna also prepared some fish for us which was very nice. The only disadvantage of the place is that the main road is near the cabin so you can see and hear cars driving by from time to time when outside which disrupts the feeling of nature a bit. Overall we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this place :)

Easily one of our favorite AirBnBs we have stayed in. Beautiful home, in a quiet and equally as beautiful location. Thoughtfully constructed and furnished. We were able to see the very vibrant auroras from Inside the house and we even went out back, laid in the snow for an hour watching them dance in the sky. Fully furnished kitchen so very easy to cook in. The shower and sauna were amazing! Other positives were the SLEDDING hill out back and man was that FUN! They even had snowshoes for us to try out. It was an incredible experience and we will return to this very place next time we come to Finland!

Thank you for this excellent Finnish interlude. spacious and very pleasant accommodation the bay windows offer a continuous view, day and night, of nature; the forest holds surprises for us, like the reindeer that come to the window in the morning when we wake up i recommend + ++ ++

What an amazing location to spend one or multiple nights (I'd advise to stay a couple of nights at least!). Tuula is a wonderful host and is willing to help you if needed. Furthermore the reindeer are a nice extra and the lake is a perfect spot to see the northern lights!! thanks again for everything :)
