The apartment is located in Haukeland/Unneland in the same building as the organ workshop I operate but has a separate entrance Here there is free parking and good bus connection to Arna train station and Nesttun Sentrum and from there on by the city rail to Bergen city centre and Flesland. Good hiking areas within walking distance (Livarden 683moh, Gullfjellet, Ulriken, etc.) The apartment (about 45m2) is simple but functional and suitable for 2 adults (or 2 adults and 1 to 2 small children). Optimal for work travelers with longer stays.

Magnificent view over the ocean

Experience spectacular views from the Bird Box, located at the top of Ørnhaugen on Langøy. From here you can enjoy a fantastic view all the way to the North Sea, with sunset on the horizon over Algrøy. When it blows on the ocean, you can see white sea spraying up islets and cut all the west to Løno. If you arrive by kayak or boat, you can walk to the bird box from the spring. In front of the house is Galleri Solbakkestova with its associated sculpture garden which is always open to the general public. Around the house, goats graze, and you overlook some free range hens, and some alpacas across the road. The house has terraces on both sides, where it is lovely to sit and take in the surroundings and feel the tranquility. There are also great hiking trails close by.
