Great stay at Simon’s penthouse for a long birthday weekend. A large space with everything you could need. The terrace and hot tub were incredible and a sun trap from morning to evening with great views. A stones throw from Southwell high street and the minster. Simon was very helpful moving the booking forward a week at the last minute and was quick to respond to any requests during the stay. There are a few things that need fixing or updating but all in all a top notch apartment in a great location, and nothing that detracted from the enjoyment of a great weekend with family.

Absolutely loved our stay at the cabin. Everything as described in the listint. Gerry was lovely; friendly, informative and helpful. The cabin is in a great location for walks, visiting the many historic towns and halls nearby, and there are lots of little touches that make it very cozy and gives the glamping feel - out in nature, with privacy, but also some helpful creature comforts! 10/10 will definitely be visiting again :) - And Rachel's brownies were amazing!

We had. Wonderful stay in the cabin and used the hot tub everyday . The cabin was perfect for the two of us and the view from the cabin was amazing. We visited Chatsworth , Bakewell and Matlock . Guests get 10% off if you visit the bear inn , food was lovely nice choices would recommend . It’s a 4 min drive from cabin or 25 min walk .

I booked the Hobbit Hut for a surprise for my mum for Mother’s Day and it was truly a wonderful weekend. Nicola is such a kindhearted and attentive host and she made our stay so lovely. The hut itself was beautiful, clean, comfortable and very well equipped. We loved sitting outside the hut and in the amazing wood-fired hot tub as it was so quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed exploring the local area and the pub just up the road served great food. We would definitely recommend the hut to anyone looking for a relaxing, peaceful off-grid experience and think it would be amazing to stay there at anytime of year.

We stayed in Luke’s accommodation for my wife’s 40th - from the off Luke was extremely responsive and helpful when planning where to eat and where to walk locally, with lots of recommendations. The pesto at the peacock was a 10 minute drive and a restaurant we can’t wait to return to. The accommodation was easy to find, quiet and secluded. Exactly as described and shown in the photos. The garden area was a sun trap and fantastic place to relax, with the hot tub also a nice touch. We would definitely return and thank Luke for the hospitality.

We had the most wonderful long weekend here. It was peaceful, relaxing, and exactly what we needed. The hot tub was perfect - easy to use, it felt private and overlooked the beautiful surrounding. The cabin was really well equipped and family friendly; Sam thoughtfully provided a high chair and travel cot which made things so much easier for us with our one year old. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and stress-free stay. Sam always responded quickly and was helpful and friendly. We couldn’t fault a thing and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway. We’re looking forward to coming back again!

Overall it was fantastic and would recommend staying here for the immediate surroundings. We had fantastic weather for April so we could sit out on the patio and enjoy the view and the kids enjoyed the garden which was big enough to play football and rounders in. The only nitpick we had were the towels provided were very hard and scratchy and after using a lovely bath or shower the towels were not nice to use. So maybe bring your own in case they are not replaced soon. Although this did not affect us as the weather was great. If it did rain a lot and you were stuck in the downstairs lounge or dining area has no view of the lovely lake you can see from outside. There are views from upstairs main bedroom windows though.

Visited for my hen do as a group of 7 girls. Beautiful place. Beautiful grounds / surroundings. Lovely to see the animals and kept so nicely. Very friendly and flexible hosts. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully visit again 🥰

We ( family of seven) stayed at this place for Easter weekend . The house was homely and spacious. Game room was great. We enjoyed the hot tub. Kitchen equipments were good. Our dog enjoyed the house too. The owners were in contact with us constantly. They were very friendly Thank you Crich is a lovely quiet town we enjoyed walking around town and you must see Matlock and its tourists attractions which is amazinggggg!!! It’s so beautiful. I recommend this place and Matlock to everyone Regards Mahtab

We had a great stay at The Fern with our two dogs. The secure garden with hot tub was very private and the fields on the site were perfect for our dogs to run around. We loved the puzzle box! Having an EV charger on site was a great feature too, that we made good use of. The space downstairs was very generous and well equipped. The bed upstairs was huge and the view from the window across the site was fantastic, especially at sunrise. Nigel was very friendly and responsive, providing lots of local info for things to do. Thank you for a fab stay!

We had a lovely stay in the cottage. Two adults and two pre-teen children. The children loved the hot tub. Quite a few walking trails near the cottage. This was our first air b n b stay and would definitely return. The cottage is clean and so many lovely little touches. We loved the log burner for the colder evenings. We used the hosts recommendations for dinner and visited the Carnarvon pub and also ate from the local takeaways. The location was perfect for us as we were visiting family. Also lots in the local area to do for all ages. Would definitely recommend.

We booked this stay for 5 adults and a 2.5 year old for family members bday. The place is stunning and the hot tub is an added bonus. Lounge area is brilliant and comfy. Dining table area great. Kitchen was really well equipped. Bedrooms spotless and beds very comfy! Main bedroom had bifold doors with amazing views. Local area great we went to Calke abbey and the local pubs. Went to Alton towers final day and only 50 min drive. Coffee and tea station on arrival was a lovely touch. Outside sofa area comfy and stylish. I would say that the outside seating area needs more chairs / a little coffee table as there isn’t anywhere to put drinks or enough room for all 5 adults to sit. Also maybe some plastic garden cups would be good. Also to note that there is a big drop at end of garden to a stream - whilst toddler loved seeing resident ducks it was a watch 24/7 situation. Travel cot provided but not suitable for over 2 as too small. Overall loved the stay ! Would def go back.

We’ve just got back from a long weekend away at the Firs for my bestfriend’s hen do! It was amazing. The house was stunning, completely spotless, and well decorated! It looked even better than the photos when we arrived! Every thing you could need and more in the kitchen (dining stuff/glassware/utensils). There were fresh flowers in a vase on the table when we arrived! Spoke with Andy whilst staying there due to us needing to move some cars around (our mistake) and it was no problem at all, Andy was super friendly and helpful. Bedrooms/bathrooms all clean, along with hot tub and outdoor seating areas! Would recommend it to anyone. And not too far at all from Lincoln! It was perfect and we couldn’t have wished for better! We would love to come back at some point! Also, the new extension was stunning too! Well done and Thank you Andrew! :)

We had an amazing stay. The location was beautiful and was near everything we wanted, so we were able to travel to different places and enjoy the area fully. We got to enjoy the company of Bramble and Ronnie. Bramble is very good at football! The hosts were very accommodating and communication was always quick and helpful. Great place and Victoria responded to queries. Very nice house with plenty of outside space too. Perfect , only very minor downside no pubs really in walking distance, (as have to take into account the mile long farm track( but this is just a modern world issue. ) Took plenty and food etc with us as thought this maybe the case. Though do recommend The Bluebell and Horseshoes which we drove to. Totally recommend xx

This is a lovely two-storey unit for one or two people. Fully-equipped kitchen and bathroom. Absolutely no malfunctions (such as dead TV remote control batteries, haha). Immaculately clean. I very much appreciated the abundance of lighting. This ranks among the three or so best Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed in. Also, Nicky and Paul are delightful company—if you happen to number among the guests who like to meet their hosts.

We can not applaud The Redbarn enough, it exceeded our expectations, it had everything we needed and more! The hosts' attention to detail was exceptional and very much appreciated. Jan was a fantastic host, so friendly and welcoming on our arrival. We had five wonderful nights at the property, which was beautifully decorated and really spacious for two people. We really appreciated the books about local walks and the small but very functional kitchen which had absolutely everything we needed for cooking meals. The hot tub was an absolute dream in the evenings after a long day out walking at various locations nearby and across the Peak District. Would definitely stay here again if we are back in this part of the country. Thanks so much Jan!
