Our overall experience at Perla’s place was great! I got all the information I needed to settle in on the Airbnb app. The lock codes were easy to use. Perla was very responsive and left clear instructions for us to feel right at home. This Airbnb is very clean, especially the kitchen, the bedrooms, and bathrooms. My adult son, my wife, and I enjoyed the very clean facilities. The beds were very comfortable. We had everything we needed to cook and eat our meals with beautiful cookware and environment. We enjoyed walking to the beautiful clean beach. We searched for fresh seafood and were pleased with the Sea Harvest fresh seafood market. Thank you for the coffee too.

Clean and spacious place. Quirky but perfect for us. But if a drive to anyplace except the slough and beach.

Jack/host and Kathleen/co-host were both excellent! The communication was prompt and clear, and the property was even better than described. We felt very comfortable and at home during our stay. We would definitely stay here again!!

Pajaro Dunes is very peaceful and private and the condo is lovely. I appreciated how clean it was, all the thoughtful extras and how well stocked it was, and how communicative Annette was. She even sent local recommendations for things to do and restaurants. Wonderful stay!

We had a fantastic stay—this Airbnb was absolutely perfect for our family! It had everything we needed and more. The space was clean, comfortable, and clearly set up with families in mind. The outdoor playground was a major highlight—our kids spent hours out there, which made the trip so much more relaxing for us. It’s not easy to find places that are both kid-friendly and parent-approved, but this one nailed it. The location was also amazing—just a short drive to the beach, which made beach days easy and enjoyment. Also close to Monterey Aquarium and Cannery Row. Our host was super responsive and a great communicator, which made everything smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend for any family looking for a fun, easy, and well-equipped beach stay!

We had such a wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, we were wowed by the beautiful front garden. It was so peaceful and calm—like our own little slice of paradise. It really set the tone for a relaxing and happy getaway. The house itself was super charming and gave us that classic, cozy Carmel experience we were hoping for. Every little detail felt thoughtful and welcoming. Inside, everything was spotless and so well taken care of. It felt fresh, tidy, and super comfortable. And the bed—wow! Hands down, the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in. I slept like a baby every single night and woke up feeling so rested. There was a little construction going on next door, but honestly, we barely even noticed it. It was really quiet and didn’t affect our stay at all. We still felt like we had our own private, peaceful retreat. The host was so kind, easy to communicate with, and very accommodating. It made our stay feel extra smooth and stress-free. We’re already dreaming of coming back!

I had a good communication with Casey before and during our stay. There were a few things that my group wanted to know and she responded with minimal wait time. The driveway up to the house was steep and curvy which the host explained very well. But not a problem driving up since we arrived with the sun is still up. I don't remember seeing any lights on the driveway which might be a problem driving up at night. Beautiful scenery around the wrap around deck. The house was very spacious for our group of 5 couples. A tray with snacks, coffee and wine awaited us in the kitchen, as well as bottled water in the fridge. I would definitely stay here again and also recommend this house to friends or family if they are in the area. On a side note: it would've been nice if they had some type of games (billiards, ping pong, foosball or arcade games inside the 2 car garage.

We loved thw place, felt right at home the moment we walked in. Safe residential neighborhood, close to all of the attractions you come to enjoy in and around Monterey. Very nice and clean house, stocked with everything you possibly might need during your stay. Confortable beds, clean linens, nice towels. Kitchen -- it has everything and more. Coffeemaker (and coffe for it), ping pong table, and firepit in the backyard was an awesome bonus to our stay. We will be back!!! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

I had an amazing stay here with my family over the weekend! The balcony offered the most beautiful sunsets! It was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful getaway by the ocean. Susan was an amazing host !
