Light-Filled Guesthouse in Central Lonsdale

This 600 square foot, 1 bedroom laneway home feels much larger, featuring 13 foot ceilings with clerestory windows bringing in a ton of natural light. Quartz counters, Carrara marble backsplash, distressed strand-woven bamboo flooring and mid-century modern furniture give the space a gallery-like feel. In-floor heating throughout adds a cozy touch throughout the winter. An enclosed, private patio is the perfect place for a spring/summer evening nightcap. The entire space is yours to enjoy. We live close by so are available for anything our guests might need - transit directions, restaurant recommendations, sight-seeing suggestions, etc. The guest home is in Central Lonsdale, one of the friendliest areas of North Vancouver. It has a quiet neighborhood feel, but is just 3 blocks from groceries, cafes, shops, a gas station, and restaurants. There is a parking space available on the property and a lot of street parking available. Parking is never an issue. Our location is extremely central to transit with a bus stop around the corner, 3 blocks to Lonsdale and all amenities, short walk (15-20 min) to sea bus offering access to downtown Vancouver. 20 minutes via bus to downtown Vancouver. 3 minutes to Highway 1, 10 minutes to Grouse Mountain and less than an hour and a half to Whistler.

Many of Vancouver's attractions are here on the North Shore. Close to Lynn Valley center and backing onto greenbelt this very quiet studio suite has its own private entrance from the back garden. We are conveniently located 5 minutes from bus links to downtown Vancouver, West Vancouver and Deep Cove. Also walking distance to Lynn Valley Center shops and restaurants, and local forest trails, including Lynn Canyon suspension bridge. Whistler ski area is 1.5 - 2hr drive, an easy day trip!
