We loved Richard’s beautiful home. The space has been thoughtfully designed and is beautiful and practical, with the two pavilions offering space and privacy. Beautifully clean and in such a handy location to town. Everything about this has the wow factor. We loved the pool, the indoor-outdoor aspects of the decks hallway. Thank you for hosting us. The house was a great find. Centrally located in Ingham, Comfortable, well appointed with everything you need. Perfect for a short or long stay, and plenty of room for a boat. Ours was a fishing trip. A shortish trip to Lucinda to put the boat in. Close to supermarkets, shops and restaurants. I have two dogs. They loved the space to chase tennis balls and going for walks in the wetlands across the road. Karen was incredibly easy to communicate with. She is friendly, responsive and gracious. We will absolutely be back! Thank you Karen 💜

Sarah's place was just as described, perfectly simple and just as you would expect and hope for a chill beach holiday or weekender. We all slept well in comfortable beds and enjoyed having meals in the lovely modern beachy kitchen.

Great host and the location is close to the city and easy access to all amenities

Our family of 4 adults and 2 teenagers spent a week at Bedrock and it was a perfect homebase with plenty of space! It was great to have a retreat for the kids downstairs and the views were lovely each morning! A great house where the hosts have thought of everything (including the table tennis - a huge hit!)

Perfect location, close to so many excellent cafes, eateries and amenities. Backyard and pool a perfect oasis after a day out and about. Well stocked kitchen with everything you need, couldn’t ask for more in the accommodation, we loved it, would happily return and felt so at home we could live there!

Great location, lovely house, we travelled with adult children and partners and were able to enjoy the pool in privacy. We would all return.

We had an incredible stay at Karen & Mark’s home. They were exceptionally hospitable, going above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and comfortable throughout our visit. The location is ideal—right in the heart of everything, making it easy to explore the area. Staying in a traditional Northern Queensland home was such a unique and wonderful experience. The house is clean, and the area is full of character, and gave us a real sense of the local culture. It was well-equipped, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommend this place!

Jade was an absolutely amazing host - incredibly helpful and accommodating. Always responded quickly and allowed us to rearrange our check in and check out times to fit with our flights. The house is in a beautiful, peaceful neighbourhood, and only a few minutes walk away from the shops and right next to the beach.

We absolutely loved our stay in Edge Hill. The house was beautiful. The pool was refreshing. It’s very close to wonderful restaurants. Our children and parents were extremely comfortable. The hosts were great and responsive, and very easy to work with. I would highly recommend!

In the 8 years I have been using Airbnb this was by far my best experience ever. The house was even more beautiful than the pictures online. Lisa was an amazing host. Always willing to help and super flexible. We are so grateful for our stay here. The house was so clean and cosy. The kitchen had all the necessary tools. The house was spacious and luminous. The pool is amazing to relax and offers enough space in the shade to read a book. We also loved the fact that the house was so close to the beach. Ideal to run in the morning or do a nice walk along the coast. The perfect house if you want a nice getaway with your family or a group of friends. Would 100% recommend and if we ever come back we will surely stay here. Once again, thank you Lisa from the whole family. ❤️

This is a beautiful home, in the Rainforest. it's a free standing house, with a huge backyard for the dogs, a full kitchen and all the basics and plenty of extras in the pantry and fridge. The bed and lounge is very comfortable ! Highly recommend 👌

Florien was extremely welcoming, right down to having ice blocks for my three children in the freezer and water in a bowl for my dog. He was very responsive when I had to text as I couldn’t work out the bbq. He maintained the property in a very unintrusuve and respectful way. Pool was immaculate and very much enjoyed by my children. Quiet and safe location. Loved my 5 week stay there. Highly recommend.

Very cozy 1 bedroom for 1 or 2 people … I was there with a friend and we had it good. A nice and clean place that offered everything we needed. We text the host once as there was not any body wash and shampoo left with some cleaning stuff for the kitchen, and even tho it’s not mandatory to supply the shampoos we still got it within a short time with a bag of chocolates 🍫😇 We had our own garage with roller door too 👍🏼 It was a pleasant stay thank you a lot.

One word - amazing! I’ve been using Airbnb for nearly 10 years and this is definitely one of my favourite places. So comfy and quiet and relaxing. The location and communication is top notch! It’s very well stocked with amenities, sooo clean and tidy and the ocean decor and colour scheme and natural lighting is exquisite. Tania & Sandra really go above and beyond for their guests and it shows throughout the entire home and stay. Highly recommend (:

Blake’s place is one of the best we have stayed in. The elevated views and lush tropical plants are breathtaking. Huge deck, great bbq and outdoor fridge, clean and comfortable beds, spotless and spacious bathroom. We even had a female cassowary join us after we finished breakfast. Peaceful bliss! Blake is a fantastic host.

A great location for exploring Picnic Bay and the rest of the island! Thank you for allowing our pet to join us for a long weekend. It’s hard to find a spot on the island that will accept pets but is also conveniently located close to beaches and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others!
