Here a fully self-contained one bedroom cottage in upland rainforest is surrounded by natural and established gardens, and at 1,160m provides a cool summer and cosy winter retreat. Uniquely the cottage integrates art within and outside. Contemplation, inspiration, privacy and comfort, are all to be experienced, along with exploring our forest and local environmental and historical features.

Our Granny Flat is a tranquil oasis, set high up in the palm trees overlooking our swimming pool. Lorikeets whizz by, butterflies cruise by and you'll hear the occasional train toot. We're located in a lovely suburb walking distance to the new QCB Stadium, less than 10 min drive into the city and extremely popular Strand area and restaurants. The entire Granny Flat is yours with private access, kitchen and living area, separate bedroom with queen sized bed and ensuite with rain shower.

The Cubby Luxury Nature Retre

From the modern luxurious interior, you can soak up nature at its finest. The platypus, other waterlife and birdlife are visible from the breakfast / cocktail bar as well as from the bathtub or outdoor shower. The biggest decision you will need to make is which vantage point to enjoy. FNQ Blooms Tropical Flower Farm Lodge

Our Tropical Flower Farm is a 52-acre property situated at the foothills of Mt Bartle about one hour drive south of the Cairns International Airport. We grow an extensive variety of tropical Heliconia and Ginger for use in the Australian Cut Flower market. Our farm is completely self-sustainable. We have a waterfall that generates our power through Hydroelectricity and gravity-fed water from a natural spring.
