Vacation rentals with a fire pit in North Ostrobothnia

The house is beautiful, clean, cared for, tidy... It is very spacious. And the area where it is, it's beautiful, a little out of the city, but that makes it special. That has been very helpful at all times. We were very comfortable in this home.

Lovely cottage with stunning scenery! The cottage was clean and in good condition, peaceful and close to duck trees. Communication with Laura went well. This is where we'll be again!

The only strange thing was that the house itself needs to be cleaned after staying overnight. It also gets to stay in a place that has been cleaned by the previous guest myself. Bed linen and towels also had to be taken ourselves. There is a sauna and a tub that is included in the price.

The house is exceptional, beautiful and located right on the lake. The decor is natural, modern and with lots of wood; we felt very comfortable from the first moment. Note the very secluded location; the nearest shopping (supermarket) is about 15 minutes away by car. But with proper planning, that's not a problem either. We enjoyed the quiet idyllic location very much.

Cosy house in a middle of nowhere 🙂 the kids felt right at home, fell in love with the little bedroom upstairs and all the toys. The only drawback perhaps is an amount of personal belongings.

We spent three wonderful days in this accommodation from 03/25 to 3/28/2025 and could not have asked for a better place for our stay. The cottage is modern, stylishly furnished and really offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The location right on the water with picturesque lake views is simply breathtaking. We loved waking up in the morning with this fantastic view and enjoying the tranquility of nature. The private hot tub and sauna were absolute highlights – perfect for relaxing after a long day in the fresh air. The check in was super easy, and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. Everything was immaculately clean and lovingly prepared. We can fully recommend this place and would be happy to come back!

Comfortable little cottage with good location. We found everything we needed in the cottage.

Extremely clean and functional spaces. Good level of equipment in every way. The bathroom had soaps, shampoos, and other basic cosmetics products. The host was well in advance about the practicalities, and all communication was very good. The dog was away and there are nice jogging spots nearby. Strongly recommend!

Me and my partner really loved the stay at Martti´s place - the place was clean and cozy and very close to the Ruka Ski Center. The sauna heated up quickly, the view from the balcony and bedroom window was just amazing! Will definitely visit again and suggest this place to my friends!

Excellent accommodation, quiet area and within convenient distance of the center of Ruka and the slopes.

We booked the cabin for a stopover on the way to the North Cape in January. In advance, we were informed that there is underfloor heating, but it cannot really heat the hut, and there is only an outdoor toilet. Since this was not a problem for us, we still traveled and it was definitely worth it. Equipped with sleeping bags, it was cozy and pleasant for 3 people even in winter. Also the view of the frozen lake with sunrise was worth the overnight stay. Even though I think the cottage is more designed for the summer, it is also worth a visit in winter and perfect for an overnight stay

Peace and privacy near services (shop and train station within walking distance). Beautiful forest/lake view opens from all windows! A well maintained home.

Clear instructions and great location. Skiing is close to the cottage and the ski slopes are a short drive away. An atmospheric cottage.

It was a beautiful stay for our Finland trip. Definitely big plus points for the nice open kitchen and fireplace, everything was there to cook in the evening and enjoy a nice movie. The sauna space is also very comfortable. Another nice feature was the carport and small shed with tools for bikes and ski stuff, all you need for a little adventure in the North. We would highly recommend this place :) The only minor critique is that you are quite close to other houses and lack some privacy.

Very nice cottage!!! Well-equipped and very cozy! The environment is peaceful especially since we had no neighbors! Direct access to the lake on foot which allowed us to observe the northern lights. The sauna is very pleasant!!! We recommend the accommodation!

A clean and well-equipped cottage with stunning Kainuu scenery. Perfectly matched the description, we couldn't figure out any flaws. We're glad we ended up using the hot tub as well, it was nice to warm up during the day and soak in the warm water admiring the full moon. This was still the case in September, filling with lingonberries and blueberries, we collected them as wood berries, and we also cooked many stews of mushrooms. A warm recommendation for dedicated, nature-loving cottagers!
