Sojourned at Mila's over the NYE to get away from the hustle and bustle. The cottage is charming and it is located in a peaceful village. Incredibly clean, cosy and characteristic of the Cambridgeshire countryside. Mila was professional and accommodating and the place was set up with everything that one would require! It was an enjoyable and comfortable stay.

Both of Caroline’s properties are thoughtfully prepared and the wrens is a beautiful addition. Lovely attention to detail, with bathrobes and a little wine on arrival. A lovely dressing area and spacious bathroom for this quaint space. We are regulars anyway, but Caroline will always be our number one choice

We stayed 10 days in order to attend a course and visit old friends locally. The accommodation is very good standard with pretty furnishings, very comfortable beds, and views of apple trees. It was cosy, warm and tranquil. Excellent shower in spacious downstairs bathroom. The steep stairs are for able bodied people only and are well lit. Fresh homemade sourdough bread, fresh fruit compote , yoghurt, cereal and coffee for breakfast. Because of our long stay, and there being no kitchen, Rosie offered a delicious home cooked evening meal..it truly felt like home from home. Rosie and Phil were especially kind when we thought we might be ill. We can’t thank them enough and would love to stay again.

From the moment we arrived, V was incredibly attentive, ensuring that our experience was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. I highly recommend notifying her of your arrival time; it allows her to prepare everything perfectly. Upon entering, we were greeted by a delightful assortment of thoughtful touches that made our stay feel uniquely special. V had arranged a delightful spread of personalized breakfast items upon request, featuring artisan breads, jams, butter, and even delicious chocolates and a cake waiting for us. The warm ambiance, enhanced by soft music and gentle lighting, instantly made us feel at home. V's interior decor is truly one of a kind, reflecting her fantastic personality and talent for design. We stayed at Billy’s converted barn for two nights over Easter 2025. Allison and I had an amazing time, Billy was the best super host we have stayed with. His open and friendly personality shone through and the amenities, facilities and little touches were amazing. Billy also provided a first class breakfast on both mornings which was a very nice surprise. The barn is situated at the side of a lovely pond with external seating areas, in addition there was a lovely seating area at the end of the garden overlooking the rolling fields. Billy could not do enough for us, he also recommended a local pub / restaurant that we ate at and had a great night. The extremely large TV had an excellent quality picture with lots of apps so we were spoilt for choice on what to watch. Everything was excellent quality and we would 100% return, the barn was very easy to find with lots of area for parking. We would highly recommended staying here if you want a nice relaxing stay with a superb host 11/10.

We loved our overnight in this peaceful village before our flight from Stansted home to the US. Verna wisely encouraged us to make reservations at the local pub, Fleur de Lys, for dinner which was the perfect way to end our English holiday with authentic fish and chips and friendly pub atmosphere where everyone seemed to know each other. We would gladly stay again, although it may be another decade before we get another trip without our kiddos! Thanks for having us!

This was a real treat of a stay - we used to live here! Our first home together, over 35 years ago … obviously some changes to the home since then. I loved the relaxed comfortable vibe, and all the interesting items throughout. My husband was recalling times when he lived here with family, it was a real memory lane surprise for him. Julia was a very easy host to book with, leaving us a lovely card, flowers and treats for our anniversary stay. We didn’t venture far as only live a 20 minute walk away but can recommend the property for easy access to lots of local places to explore. Thank you Julia for making this such a lovely stay - highly recommended .
