Vacation rentals with a kayak in North Elba

This Adirondack camp was an absolute blast in an amazing location! The direct access to the lake made our vacation unforgettable, especially with the provided kayaks for exploring the beautiful lake and connecting waterways. Our dogs had the time of their lives running around the spacious yard, and the pizza stone was fantastic for making delicious homemade pizzas to enjoy in the front room while while enjoying the stunning views of the sun setting over the lake. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a perfect lakefront retreat!

wonderful property and lots to do. even though we could not control the weather this property really has everything you need and the view of the lake was amazing. fishing on property was also great and was able to catch a few.

I was very happy with the location and how easy it was for me to bring my kids on the lake and learn to fish. Beautiful views and a pleasant place to stay.

We enjoyed the backyard and kayaks immensely! Great yard for kids and pup to play in. Close to White Face, Lake Placid, and Ausable Chasm. Beds were very comfortable and so many thoughtful amenities. Jennifer was in contact with us to make the rental perfect! We hope to go back in the fall or winter in the future.

5 STARS! Very cozy property filled with wonderful amenities. Large spacious bedrooms and great outdoor space and seating area. Beautiful views of Lake Champlain from many spaces in the house. We had a such a wonderful stay, so much so we booked it again for another few days! Tamara was an excellent host. Would love to visit again :)

Lovely home in a lovely setting. The view is breathtaking and Barbara has outfitted the space woth everything you could possibly need. She is extremely thoughtful and personable. The area is great for hiking and outdoor activities but is also near Middlebury College and Burlington.

Really happy with our stay. I have rented several houses in the Adirondacks over the years. This was a great one. Quiet and peaceful with lots of charm and character. The wrap around porch was the perfect spot to relax. About a 15-20 walk down the rail trail to breweries and restaurants.

This cabin at Rainbow Lake was the perfect place for the quiet retreat my adult son and I needed. Cozy living room with new wood floors; small but perfectly functional and well-stocked kitchen; comfortable beds and pillows; updated bathroom and easy-to-use shower; hot water was very responsive; washing machine/dryer are much more modern than what I have at home (the manual was easy to find!) Our favorite spots were the dining table by the picture window overlooking the lake, and the Adirondack chairs on the dock at lakeside. The cabin is in a secluded cove, and the water was as smooth as glass most of the time. We even saw a loon several times, even though it was late October! There was just a little road noise during "going to/from work" times (can't call it "rush hour"); the rest of the time, just wonderful silence and the whisperings of the pine trees. We didn't use the kayaks, fire pit, or barbecue. Ten-minute drive into Saranac Lake for groceries, etc. We'd love to come back!

Right on the Pond, can walk out onto the ice! Also a short walk to the town park and playground! Heating is limited to an oil fired unit in the living room and plug in heaters in both bedroooms and the bathroom, but we stayed plenty warm in sweats and slippers. Nice views of the lake and deer! And the garage offered space to store our outdoor gear. So peaceful!

Our stay was amazing! We were moving our daughter into her dorm at UVM and were in Burlington for a week. We decided to stay here rather than a hotel near campus. It was the best decision ever. Jack and Robin’s cottage was the perfect place to prepare for dorm move-in. We were able to get out and explore the area. The sunrises over Lake Champlain were beautiful while we drank our morning coffee. Walks on the causeway were great for watching sunsets. 10/10 will stay here again when we visit our daughter at UVM. Go Catamounts!

Perfect home base for a peaceful ADK getaway. Lots to do in close proximity to cottage. The place was great. Very quiet. Coffee on the deck overlooking the river was a great was to start every day, and a cold one by the fire was a great way to end each day. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed for my daughter’s Midd graduation. It’s less than a 20 minute drive to Middlebury. Ardie and Mike are such lovely, hard working, kind and receptive human beings. I loved meeting them. They were so welcoming and accommodating, down to earth people. I would stay here again in a heartbeat - in any one of the cabins.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Laura's place! It was perfect for a small family getaway. The only disappointment was that the weather did not cooperate enough to try out the cozy fire pit. We enjoyed sunrise from the living room and morning walks for coffee and bagels. Would definitely recommend.

We enjoyed our stay, especially the special touches around the guest house (comfortable bedding and claw bathtub) as well as its gorgeous view. Jeff made sure we had everything we needed for a weekend away, clear instructions and local recommendations.

Adam was an incredible host. He was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay providing recommendations and quick answers to questions whenever needed. The home was immaculately clean when we arrived. This also had to be the most well equipped Airbnb I've ever stayed at. From the kitchen supplies, board games, vinyls, CDs, to the throughly detailed guidebook written by host, I was so beyond impressed! The most outstanding part of this stay is of course the location and the views this home provides. It provided the perfect private oasis for a stay to just unwind and unplug. I'd highly recommend this stay if your local for a tranquil, low-key retreat.

We had a great stay at Robin’s cabin right on Auger Lake for my birthday. The cabin was very clean and cozy, and had everything we needed. The hot tub was great especially since we had unexpectedly cold weather for June. The area was very quiet and peaceful, but still close to a lot of cool places. Definitely will be coming back!

Amazing spot. Probably the coolest Airbnb i've ever stayed in. Really nice cozy cabin. Perfect spot very close to downtown, but far away enough to feel like you are in nature and not be bothered by anyone else. I'd highly recommend the spot to anyone.

This was our fourth stay at Camp Casey and it’s always a joy to visit! Chad is a great host, the property is lovely, and the cabin is cozy and clean.

Fabulous three night stay- kayaking, fishing, walking and enjoying camp life. Great location on a beautiful lake. Well equipped kitchen and we ate all our meals in house. Great boathouse.

Camp Timberock is a rare find. We chose the cabin because of the unlimited options for paddling and hiking. Despite the cold temperatures, we took advantage of the area and spent a lot of time exploring. One of my favorite parts of Timberock would be the deck with the outdoor fireplace. We also appreciated all of the supplies in the kitchen, the extra blankets and the endless supply of wood for the fire. Hope to return next year!

Friendly hosts and cozy stay. They’re good at hospitality.

We loved our stay at Nancy and Joe’s. The kitchen was well equipped, we made several meals there. The views were breathtaking. We got some great pictures of the beautiful sunsets. Our goal for this trip was to rest, relax and fish. We did a lot of fishing in the area. We didn’t have much luck out on the lake, but local rivers and creeks were a lot of fun to fish, even the catch and release areas. We will be back again, but we’ll be sure not to go in May, the black flies (May flies) are rather annoying.
