Pet-friendly vacation rentals in North Bay

We are in awe with how amazing this place is. The river is a joyous sight to enjoy, the house is comfy, the hosts welcoming, and the drive up was full of grand views. There are trails, games indoors and outdoors, the best stocked kitchen I've ever seen from an Air B&B, and an amazingly relaxing softtub. Wanda and Greg were immediately inviting and let us know in advance what to expect on how to get there and the fun things to do while at Valhalla and in Mattawan. If I could recommend anything to someone coming here it would be to bring a good pair of waterproof shoes and a day pack to explore the mountain paths. They were a great treat and we would walk them again in a heartbeat. There are so many things to rave about at this cozy home I can't list them all here but we will be happy to return and enjoy even more of what Valhalla has to offer.

The place was a beautiful cottage, very well decorated and extremely clean! The place had everything you could ever need and Ryan and Bryan were extremely quick to respond and accommodating. I would 100% stay here again!

Paula made our stay amazing again! The fire was going and the place was toasty warm. We were lucky enough to be there while the goats were having their babies and Paula let all 5 kids stay out with her for hours. We all had an amazing peaceful weekend. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home fits larger families with 4 bedrooms and two washrooms. Conveniently located close to the river and short walk to shops and restaurants. Host was friendly and responded very quickly to any messages sent.

Stayed here for my daughter’s dance competition weekend and it was perfect! The place was easy to get to and close to downtown and other surrounding areas. Loved that they allow pets, and everything was super clean with no issues at all. Would definitely book again!

This place was a great size for our group of 10 and had a very spacious and comfortable main room where we could all gather to eat, play games and relax. The sauna is a nice feature as well. The kitchen was very well equipped. Kersti and her co-hosts were very responsive, accomodating and helpful.

Great stay. Clean space, looks just like the photos. Peaceful and easy. Had a crib and high chair for our little one. Hot tub was great. BBQ we didn’t use but was available. TV and internet worked. Responsive host. Cut grass. Little parkette for our son within a short walking distance. Thank you Ronald and Irene.

We would definitely rent again! Paul and Aldo were great hosts! Highly recommend this lake house for a weekend away!

Was a great spot to stay and close to everything very easy to get a hold of and check in check out was seem-less they were even going to let me go back to see if I forgot something and it was very clean . only few downfalls the bbq was very dirty and didn’t work well we ended up having to switch are food to inside , it’s for sale so a lot of stuff from the stagers in the house which made us nervous to touch anything , no heat in the basement and it was a chilly weekend and they are extremely strict on the recycling to the point there is a sign saying the first thing the cleaning lady does is go through the garage and if one things isn’t in the right place you will be fined , with kids accidents happen and they may put garbage in the wrong bin so we ended up taking all are garbage home to save save the stress

We loved our stay at Mark and Betty's chalet. The place was quiet and clean. There was plenty of space for our two families, a beautiful deck space for enjoying a morning coffee, an indoor pool for the kids to use at the nearby resort (at a reasonable cost and only a 5 minute walk from the chalet) and plenty of hiking trails nearby. The hosts were responsive and offered helpful suggestions for things to do in the area. We especially enjoyed Mark and Betty's art collection, the many klompen (for the Dutch in us!) and the giant pileated woodpecker that would visit the birdfeed in the morning.

Bowhey’s is such a special place. All the amenities, clean cabins, staff is always busy working on something to make it even more beautiful. Ian is so great and laid back. Saturday night karaoke should not be missed! We will definitely be back.

Beautiful view of the West Bay! Cottage was very clean and well equipped. Friendly, laid back people were staying in nearby cottages and trailers. We went to the Lavigne Tavern down the road for supper and had an excellent meal and service. Likewise, picking up ice cream from the corner store. Very friendly, warm, relaxed town - we'll be back!

This place is absolutely breathtaking, being right on the lake, the view was beautiful from morning to night time. Usman was also an amazing host who responded to all our questions and concerns in timely manner before and during our stay. Could not recommend this host and their place enough. Our family spent almost a week here and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was exactly what we all needed and offered something for all the different ages (15-79) in our group - right on the property. The hot tub was great, as was the fire pit area with muskoka chairs encircling it. The one thing to note is that the property is located a little ways from the local town or the bigger center of Huntsville. So if you are looking for a place right in, or nearby town, you'll be farther here. For us that didn't matter at all. The water sports items kept us all busy and the huge kitchen table allowed us to eat together and enjoy the beautiful view of the surroundings at the same time. The host communicated quickly and was very friendly. We would definately recommend this 5-star property!

We had a great stay at Abi's Wild Rose dome where we had our own private bathroom nearby. She was super responsive and happy to accommodate any requests/ questions we had during our stay. We also tried some of her bakery items, the blueberry muffin stood out the most because they were packed with blueberries!! We didn't have to bring anything for the fireplace or sauna, everything was provided with no limits. Very comfortable and unique stay, would recommend. Abi was an amazing, caring, and welcoming host overall!

I am really blessed to find this place while browsing a stay for my long weekend getaway. It has everything anyone needs. It’s my first cabin stay ever and I am extremely happy. The host is very responsive and answers any questions you have anytime. The location makes you feel like you are in a jungle, especially at night. I was the only one that weekend staying in these cabins so I had the thrill of an actual forest vibes. The nights are starry and very beautiful. I will definitely revisit when the time calls for a cabin 😄

Christina’s place was a little slice of heaven! I stayed for a month and loved going swimming during the beautiful sunrises, enjoying the peaceful dock and relaxing. Also, as a mushroom enthusiast, this property had so many lovely sights - even a shrimp of the woods bloom at the end of my stay. Christina was so lovely and accommodating and really helped me feel safe and welcome. My cats loved the windows and bright open space. Would recommend this stay to anyone :)

Very private retreat with beautiful views, right on the water with new dock, kayak and canoes. The cabin is very cute, cozy, and well appointed. Linda is a great host and always ready to respond. Will gladly come back!

Everything about our stay at Rocky Shore Drive was spectacular. This place is roomy with all the comforts of home. Quality furniture is found throughout the place . The home is grand , bright with all its windows , comfy and clean. Beds were exceptionally comfortable. Lots of extra linens and blankets are also available. Kitchen is fully stocked with drip coffee, a bodum, electric kettle , a microwave , dishwasher and a toaster oven. You will also find two large fridges with ice makers and water dispenser and two Jen-air stoves . Main living room has a super comfy sectional , big screen tv and a fireplace . **look for Woody in the main living room :) Upstairs ; a computer work station , a couple recliners and two bedrooms along with a washroom . Both washrooms were stocked with fresh towels and basic shower supplies; Shampoo n body soap . The basement ; a pool table , rummoli game , a drinking game , lots of books and puzzles to be found as well. Five stars all around ?

we had a wonderful and peaceful stay at this lakeside property. The surroundings were incredibly serene, offering the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. All the amenities were exactly as described, and the place was sparkling clean. Despite the long drive to get there, it was well worth it—the scenic beauty made the journey enjoyable. We especially loved spending time around the firepit, using the BBQ, and soaking in the beautiful views. It was a perfect setting for quality family time, and the host was very responsive and helpful throughout. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved our stay at Beaver Point Cottages! The place is cute, quiet, and in a perfect location right on the water. The hosts were incredibly helpful—we ran out of propane for the BBQ and had a new tank delivered within minutes. Couldn’t ask for better service. 10/10 recommend and would definitely come back! Thanks for everything!

Nick and Jenn are excellent hosts. Their cottage was the perfect place to enjoy meals and get peaceful rest at the end of hard day at work. The place felt comfortable and had all the amenities of home. Crew enjoyed the stay so much, had to rebook another two week stay.
