The cottage has its own garden and is adjacent to a forest, where you can take a nice walk and in the vicinity there are many more hiking areas. Huisje op de Hei is located behind our farm on more than a hectare of land, in a protected nature reserve just outside Dwingeloo in Drenthe. A special place, because you literally walk up the heath from our yard. No traffic, no neighbors, no hustle and bustle. The adventure begins on arrival, because to reach our cottage you have to drive a little kilometer along a sandy road. This road is not accessible to traffic. It's not much quieter in the Netherlands!

Experience of an at-home feeling in our little house with citygarden. Suitable for one or two persons (5 max.) but also for groups of friends (up to 6 persons). Childfriendly. first breakfast is ready upon arrival. Supermarket nearby is at Meeuwerderweg 96-98 (open until 10 p.m./Sunday 8 p.m.) The B&B does not have its own parking space. Not far and the cheapest option is the Oosterpoort parking garage - street name is Trompsingel 23
