We are offering a beautiful, COMFORTABLE, option to camping. Our off grid tent comes with all the comforts of home including a wood stove and reading nook! It is nestled into a hemlock grove overlooking the active beaver pond. Walking trails and local activities at a stones throw. If you have a small boat or kayaks- BRING them! We have space in the yard and lots of local places to send you to get good use out of them. Please do not use on our pond. We have a boat available for use.

Mountainview Safari Tent - Gros Morne Glamping

Experience Newfoundland in a way few people have before! This unique yet modern style of camping takes you inside a rugged canvas safari tent and is also a wheelchair accessible site! One double bed with a comfy pillowtop mattress is the perfect way to end your day. Linens, towels, tabletop bbq, outdoor firepit, picnic table, cooking supplies, dishes, utensils and a cooler for food. All you need is food, clothes & personal toiletries. There is room for an air mattress if needed.

There is a lovely Bath House. Enjoy wood-fired pizza (most but not all nights in the summer) and our wood hot tub ($25 for a private experience). 40 acres of meadows, woods, pond, streams and trails. Nightly bonfires, star gazing, a nearby lake and rafting in the Hudson River below.

We provide a full-size bed (w/ heated mattress pad), fire pit, firewood, propane heater, and solar power. You have access to a private outhouse with composting toilet & outdoor shower on-site, and a conventional shared bathroom if you preferred. We are an LGBTQ+ inclusive space.
