We stayed here with our 2 small children and especially enjoyed the peace and quiet. We loved the view from the terrace and living area of the lake. The children had toys in the children's room and we had everything we needed in the kitchen, bathroom & co. Despite the rain, there were great excursion destinations for families nearby and it is also only a few minutes' drive to the beach. Thanks for the lovely, relaxing stay and the cozy "short-term home"!

Warm hosts! A great place to relax and clear your head. Susan greeted us right away with the most delicious chocolate cake. You have the opportunity to be on your own and, if necessary, to get in touch with other guests. The accommodation is super lovingly furnished. We lacked nothing. Thank you and best regards!

We had a wonderful weekend as a family at Gesa's place! The kids had a wonderful time in the playroom, also the garden was a dream. Communication was also always great, thank you so much!

Everything was okay so far. Cheap accommodation close to Wismar! You are really very fast by car in Wismar and of course also on the Baltic Sea.

The place is very nice, super clean and nicely located. You can quickly walk to the Baltic Sea beach, which offers many possibilities. Caro is a great host and was always very quickly reachable. Highly recommended!

The spacious, clean and lovingly furnished apartment has everything you need. By car you can park directly in front of it and load and unload your suitcases through the living room. Mandy is super nice and her tips saved us a lot of miles! Thanks for that🫶!

We felt very comfortable in the rustic apartment. Very clean and conveniently furnished. We also liked the large fenced garden very much, so that our Sally could romp around. The location is also great, 200 steps to the bakery/near and fresh, 200 steps to the promenade/beach and directly opposite the Italian restaurant and next to a Greek one. More options on the promenade, which with a length of 1.5 km really surprised. In any case, we recovered well.

We (2 adults, 2 dogs) were allowed to enjoy the accommodation with a completely fenced garden and cozy terrace very spontaneously for 3 days. That's exactly what we did. Gunnar welcomed us in a friendly manner, explained everything and then handed over this beautiful, clean, well-located house, equipped with everything you need in everyday life, together with equipment. No hidden extra costs or similar. We were very enthusiastic and can recommend it to everyone from the heart. The location is also very nice and above all quiet, which we liked very much. All excursion destinations were easily accessible from here. All around top short trip!

We felt at home in this accommodation from the first moment. Especially the view into the well-kept garden with the pool is a real highlight – holiday feeling guaranteed! By bus and tram, you can be in the middle of the city center in a reasonable time. Our tip: We bought the ticket via the HVV app. All in all, a wonderful and stylish accommodation that we will be happy to book again when we are in Hamburg. With the kindness and helpfulness of Laila and her mother, as well as in the lovingly furnished apartment, we felt almost at home (only the refrigerator could be a little bigger). The sauna, the shower, and in good weather the pool, surrounded by the beautiful green garden were the highlights.

Our stay in the vacation home with Dana and Volker was all around successful. Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome and immediately felt welcome. The house is lovingly decorated, very clean and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The garden also invites you to linger and offers plenty of space for cozy hours outdoors. Dana and Volker were always helpful without being intrusive and were always available to answer questions. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back!

Really lovely country stay right next to a beautiful country manor. Great stuff for romantics who love that Jane Austen vibe. Well decorated house that felt personal rather than hotel like. The house was large and roomy and clean. We were 11 people and it suited us comfortably. The pool was heated and had a covering for cleanliness. 10/10 would recommend.

Beautiful place to stay! Everything was very clean and well equipped. The contact with the host was super friendly and straightforward. The small bookcase and the toys for our children were an absolute highlight. We will be happy to come back!

Wolfgang and Carola were fantastic hosts. They met us when we arrived and explained everything. Gave us lots of tips on what to see in Hamburg and the best way to get around. There is offstreet parking if you have a car. Their backyard is buitiful. The area is also quiet. Public transport is faily close by, bus 5 minute walk, train about 10 to 15 minutes. We have no hesitation in recommending Wolfgang and Carola`s home.

A virtue born of necessity... We were urgently looking for a place to stay for one night to spend the last night in Poel as a family. As an exception, we were very helped with this wonderful accommodation. We were allowed to arrive much earlier by arrangement and are still very enthusiastic. The pictures do not reflect the quality and attention to detail of the apartment. We now have an excellent option for a relaxing time in the north. Thank you for everything! Particularly noteworthy is the meeting with the neighbors Gaby and Klaus, who lovingly take care of the house and the guests (especially the little ones). Especially with children, you can't get it for any money in the world. Honest, warm, empathetic!

It is a beautiful spacious house. We were there with 9 adults and 3 kids. Beautiful enclosed garden with Jacuzzi and sauna. The beach with the fishing pond and the playground within walking distance made it complete. It is close to Schwerin and Wismar.

This beautiful location is in the middle of paradise, we had a very nice time and our dog enjoyed the garden & the surroundings very much. Perfect for driving down. The kitchen is super equipped, small details like spices, oil & coffee were also on site. The neighbors there in the village were also all super friendly. Justine was always available and very friendly. Would definitely come back. :)

We stayed four nights in Claudia's small oasis in the countryside with our dog 🐶 everyone felt right at home. You have a large garden with plenty of seating as well as by the lake. You can hear the birds chirping all the time, you can only relax there. 🕊️ Our highlight was the outdoor shower. In the house, nothing was missing, and you could also relax well in the rocking chair next to the fireplace. It doesn't take long to drive to the Baltic Sea, so you can also have a beach day. There is a baker nearby. With the dog, you only need to go out the gate and can walk directly through the green. 🌳 Claudia was very friendly and open-minded and makes a lot of effort. Behind the house, a pair of swans are brooding. Unfortunately, we were not able to see the little ones hatch 🦢 We can only recommend the place!

We loved our stay! We were a group of 6 friends and really enjoyed our stay at the place! It was a very adorable apartment. The kitchen had the needed amenities, and if something was missing, a quick text to the host got that sorted right away! There are free bikes to borrow and although they aren’t the most modern bikes obviously, they did their job in making the trip fun! There isn’t much to do in the nearest vicinity and a car is probably your safest bet for the trip, but we really enjoyed it :) One thing to note is there are a few spiders around the apartment, but it’s normal, so as long as you’re okay with the little creatures, I’m sure you’ll have a lovely time! Oh, and the ceiling is slightly lower than usual, but none of us had to fear bumping our heads so it worked out nicely. All in all, a recommendation for a calm holiday in the north!

We spent two nights in the beautiful place. The apartment is very nicely decorated. There are two large bedrooms with comfortable double beds. In the kitchen, everything important is available. We were able to eat comfortably on the terrace and our dog was able to move freely in the garden. The hosts are very pleasant and open. We will be happy to come back!

We had a great five days at Sven's place. We particularly enjoyed the tranquility and nature all around. Total relaxation and recreation. The short walk to the beach led through the castle park and the brasserie invited you to make a culinary stopover. Otherwise, Kalkhorst is the perfect place to explore the surrounding area. Cities such as Wismar, Lübeck Travemünde and Schwerin were easily reached in 40 minutes. We will be happy to come back.

There were three of us (3 adults and a small dog) 3 nights in Gabi's vacation home. We liked the cottage very much, everything well maintained, good amenities and a very nice garden. Only the duvets we personally found very thick and sweated a little in them - if you prefer to sleep cool, you should possibly bring something thinner ;-) The proximity to the very beautiful natural and dog beach is particularly good!
