Cottage on idyllic set Cottage on mountain farm

Seterliv «Vinterstuen» is part of a shepherd, Nysætra. Here there has been an active herd before, most recently two years ago, with dairy cows, sheep, horses and goats. Right next to the “Winter Room”, is the “Fire House”, which is under renovation now, and which can also be rented out eventually. In “Eldhuset”, you get a taste of the old shepherd life, with fireplace/fire pit, fine old shepherd furniture and fine old things from the old days. The other houses/buildings on the settra, is the barn that has room for many animals, the arc, and the nice outdoor area.

The place is for us essentially a place to retreat and find real peace and quiet without meeting any people nearby. "The view" is located at the top and is the closest neighbor to a fantastic nature experience - Synnfjell with Spåtind as the highest peak at 1414 meters above sea level It is rented out from time to time and the possibilities of the place must just be experienced with very good hiking possibilities both in summer and winter

Cozy cabin with great hiking and skiing terrain

Cozy cabin in fantastic surroundings of 750 meters above sea level, located right by the exit point for both skiing and nice walks outside the ski season. Spåtind (1414 meters above sea level) is about 10 km away and can be reached both by skiing and on foot. There are also many other nice summit hikes in Synnfjellet. Synnfjellporten is a few kilometers away and has serving food and drinks on weekends and holidays. The cabin is peaceful and quiet and just has a couple of neighbors. You can hear the rush of the river Synna running just past.

The cabin is well equipped with two fridges, stove, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and shoe dryer. Great hiking trails for skiing and hiking. Ski slopes 50 meters from the cabin, snowproof from November to April.

Here you can find peace and quiet. The cabin is all for themselves. Very children friendly. All on one level Large lawn for play and games. This is where children and adults and adults can relax. Nice starting point for trips to Spåtind, Jomfruslettfjell, Lenningen, etc. Laundry room with washing machine and drying area Heat pump and wood burning Annex with large double bed and living room( sleeps at least 4 if needed). 4 bedrooms inside the cabin with room for 2 in each room. Cabin with a fantastic view. The breathtaking landscape can be enjoyed all year round, with plenty of opportunity to experience the beauties of nature and wildlife. Here, free-range sheep roam from May to September, and with a little luck you can also see moose. From the cabin, there are paths to Høgkampen and Spåtind, and there is the option of dog sledding during winter. The surrounding lakes and rivers offer good fishing spots and there is also the possibility of horseback riding on Spåtind.
