The apartment is located on the north side of Strynsvatnet, 1.5 km from Highway 15, by County Road 722. The apartment was newly renovated in 2019, and has most of the necessary furniture and equipment. Private parking and two terraces. Bedroom with double bed. Corner sofa bed in the living room for 2 persons. TV in the living room, bathroom with shower. Laundry room. Heating cables in floor in living room, kitchen and bathroom. 12 km to Stryn city center, to Loen 22 km. Stryn Summer Ski Center is about a 30 minutes drive away. There are many hiking opportunities nearby.

A stone's throw to the shore and small boat harbor, and a few minutes walk to Hakallegarden visitor farm (check websites), and the beach Sandviksanden. The Hakalle staircase is located right above the cabin, and gives amazing views of the sea and the nearest islands. Perfect starting point for day trips to Vestkapp, Runde, Geiranger, Loen, Ålesund, etc... Approximately 300 meters to the grocery store with everything you need. It is also a short distance to Ålesund (about 1 hour by car) and famous areas such as Geiranger, Hellesylt, Norangsdalen, Valldal and Trollstigen. In winter, two different ski resorts are only 15 minutes away from the apartment; “Sunnmørsalpane Skiarena Fjellsætra” and “Strandafjellet Skisenter”.

The decor is a mix of retro, old treasures and a little new. Duvets and pillows are mostly new. Can provide thinner ones if desired. We live in the countryside, our village is called Hjartåbygda, 10 min by car from Volda city center. There is no public transport, so you should have your own car. Nice hiking area right outside the door, marked trails. Otherwise quiet and peaceful. Right by the lake, and by car it is not far to many of Sunnmøre's beautiful mountains.
