Family-friendly vacation rentals in Noordwelle

Veronique and Luc's lodge is a dream! We didn't leave them all the time to explore the area as originally planned, but enjoyed the fantastic location in the polders and the tranquility! The crowning glory was then the daily jacuzzi bath in the sunset. We will definitely come back!

This was a very good location. The apartment even had a nice balcony. The place was close to trams to train station and walkable to all historic sites in town. Plenty of good restaurants as well. Ghent is a fantastic place to base your travels out of! We loved this little city and stayed an extra couple of days.

Fred and Kelly’s place is absolutely wonderful. We stayed because the price was better and there was a little more room than many places directly in the city. Though we looked forward to it, we didn’t expect to fall in love with it…and we did! Staying outside of the city is pretty great. It’s a 10ish minute walk to the train station, and then an easy navigation to wherever you need to go. We didn’t mind the “commute” a bit, and it was nice to start off and wind down in a quieter setting. The place itself is well kept, clean, and cozy. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot with good pressure. We enjoyed casting Netflix on the TV with the fireplace on in the evenings, and we spent a couple of mornings in the garden. We booked this spot our entire stay, but also spent one night in Amsterdam to experience “city life,” and also spent one night in Utrecht. These were perfect additions to our home base plan. I’d definitely stay here again!

We were two for 2 nights there. The reception was very warm and friendly. The available bicycles were a great way to take a leisurely evening ride or to be able to shop in less than 20 minutes. With our car, we drove to Zandvoort by the sea in just under 1 hour. It was incredibly relaxing and the area is very nice.

The apartment - in our case for six people - really keeps what it promises. The two-story apartment at the top of the house offers plenty of space, a large dining room, living room, three bedrooms and three balconies. Everyone will find a place if they want to have some peace and quiet. Large windows that go out to the beach and only a few minutes' walk to the beach promenade of Ostend: You are literally relieved of the hustle and bustle of everyday life and look at the wide world from above (elevator available!). We immediately felt at home. The apartment is also well equipped and our hosts have given us many nice excursion destinations in the area. A really great vacation for us.

Glad to have stayed at Gunter’s B&B. He was friendly and helpful, the place was nice and tidy. The jacuzzi was great during a cold evening, definitely recommend for a nice getaway.

We had a wonderful holiday in Moniek’s beautiful house. We were so comfortable and relaxed as Moniek provided everything we could need. There were lots of lovely, stylish extras in her house too that made our stay feel special. The neighbourhood is great; quiet, peaceful and full of beautiful views of boats, beaches parks, nature and water. Yet there is also loads to do with teenagers, being so close to Amsterdam, Ajax and Delft. Almere is the perfect place to explore by cycling. The week went so quickly. Moniek was very helpful in giving useful and detailed info and in answering questions quickly. I would 100% highly recommend this AirBnB to others.

Me and my friend had a very nice stay at Mijke's house. The hot pool and sauna were very nice and easy to warm up. The place was very clean and accurately described. We can only recommend it.

This is our third time staying at Tine’s cottage over the past nearly ten years. It feels like a home away from home. We love Tine and she treats everyone like family. In case you don’t know already, this cottage sits on a quiet street, with its own private parking, entrance, and privacy. It is a very short walk into the backside of Zaanse Schans by the Windmills. You can borrow one of Tine’s many bicycles or simply walk the flat peaceful lanes into the open air park and experience clogs making, cheesemaking, stroopwafels, historic homes and neighborhoods well preserved, shops and gifts, a museum, and the most beautiful intact and functioning windmills you’ll find anywhere in the area - plus much more. It’s only 7-8 minutes to the Zaanse Schans train station and a straight shot in 15 minutes on the train to Centraal Station. Also very easy to get to Keukenhof via train, car, bus, etc. Grocery stores and restaurants close by. Our favorite spot out of all we’ve stayed at in Holland!

We stayed for a couple of days while visiting Amsterdam and Leiden - it was fantastic for the train and a real quiet cosy little place Kitty was a lovely host, she sent the most comprehensive directions I’ve ever gotten to find the place from the station and was super speedy to respond. Thanks for having us 😊

We had a wonderful stay in the former school under the wings of an old mill. Beautiful, green area where it is very quiet. Sanna is a friendly host who responds quickly and helps where she can. This house is very spacious and clean, with an enclosed garden that you share with the neighbors. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at the accommodation in Zandvoort. The apartment was exactly as described and in the photos – clean, cozy and very welcoming. We felt comfortable right from the beginning. The location is just perfect – close to the beach, town and yet quiet. Annette was a great host: very friendly, easily accessible and with great tips for the area. We will definitely be happy to come back!

We stayed at Irene's place for 3 nights and it was definitely worth it. It is a nice and especially cozy stay where everything you would need is. Nice underfloor heating for the cold days!! Central location in a quiet area where there is something to see in all directions. It has definitely been worthwhile for us!!!

We enjoyed a lovely long weekend at Boeren Biezen! The cottage has everything you need to cook, good beds and a nice sitting area. Margareth and Freddy are incredibly hospitable and do everything they can to give you a nice time. We ate paella together, bake pizza and cared for the horses. You don't have to go far for fun trips to Sluis, Groede or Het Zwin. Super!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this cozy house where everything you might need is present, and so much more! We were also received very hospitably, very nice to start our holiday ☺️ It's really recommended here! Everything is within walking distance and super convenient that you can leave the car in the driveway. We would love to come back here again!

A very nice experience in Peggy’s house! Communication was easy and fast, indications about check in and house rules very clear, at the same time quite kind and welcoming! The house was very well arranged, in the countryside, perfect for reconnecting with friends and nature. I warmly recommend and thank Peggy for welcoming us!

This is a great place. It’s so, so close to the main square and easily walkable to any area of Bruges. The apartment is spacious, well equipped and tastefully decorated. A laundry (with two washers and two dryers), “Honesty Bar”, filled with wine and beer, DVD center is in the same building just two doors down. This apartment is located on the second floor (third floor by US standards) but is well worth it for the location.

We had a wonderful stay! Communication was always friendly, quick and helpful. The home was exactly as described, clean and very comfortable. We particularly appreciated the loving furnishings and the small touches that made the stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this place and would book again anytime. We felt very comfortable in the small cozy apartment! Great equipped, with everything you need - also for the little ones with (somewhat outdated) toys and plenty of utensils for kids. Especially great was the beautiful view of the green space, the tranquility and the bikes with a child seat (unfortunately already quite attacked - had to mend once), with which we could explore the magnificent and versatile environment!! We had a wonderful stay at Dominique's 5th floor apartment. It was bright & airy & we felt at home immediately. The views are great & the large balcony is perfect for the afternoon sun/sunsets. There is also a 2nd balcony for the sunrise! And you can walk to the beach for these too, in only 15 minutes. The heated swimming pools(adult & baby pools)are a real hit. The large pool is very rarely busy. We loved it! You need to wear swimming caps, but once bought that wasn't a problem, as everyone wears one. They can be purchased in the small office in the pool apartment block. There are shops & restaurants within walking distance. The tram stop & train station are a 10 minute walk. We took a tram to Oostende & a train to Bruges. Fares are inexpensive. Kitchen facilities are excellent, coffee N'Espresso machine with pods & biscuits to start us off! A nice touch. Dominique is a very responsive & attentive host. Beds were very comfy. We had a really great stay. Just book it!!

Great weekend at Magdalena's. Good communication before we arrive, perfect arrival and welcome. We met Magdalena later in the evening, a lovely person who does everything to make his visitors have a good time. The accommodation is very comfortable, quiet in an exceptional environment between land and sea. A huge thank you to Magdalena and her husband for their extraordinary hospitality.

We arrive super late, and with a trailer. Tijl was so helpful about parking, letting us check in etc. The farm is lovely, the property is lovely and we'd stay there again without hesitation. The sheep, ducks and horse were lovely too!

We had a wonderful stay at the beach house. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed. The outside area was a lovely place to sit in the evening sun and the Sauna was very relaxing. The facilities (pool, kids playground, the beach and the restaurant) were fantastic. The location is wonderful and feels close to nature with a beach very close by. It's very easy to drive to local attractions or you can take the number 24 bus into town from the main road (30 mins walk) and take the train or tram anywhere. This is a great location to relax in nature and to enjoy local bike trails and walks. Karin is a wonderful and attentive host. We highly recommend this accommodation.
