It was very nice and everything was as described. The environment invites you to move and enjoy nature.

Unfortunately, it was only for one night. A place to remember! Beautiful spaces, very welcoming, clear instructions.

What great days we spent in this fantastic cottage. Under the stars. Location on the heath is great. In the winter, the cottage is also nice and warm. Easy parking in front of the door. Contact with owners also what nice people. Not a standard commercial experience as is the case in many Airbnb places.

Have a nice time with our little one and the dog. All the comforts in the house. Beautiful nature.

We, four cycling and hiking friends, were very hospitably received by Margriet, who was still cleaning. The homemade apple pie was already ready. We were too early, but were allowed to put our groceries and suitcase inside. With your own bikes and a bike from Margriet via the junctions towards Appelscha. Nice lunch at Family's and a short walk to the beautiful lookout tower. What beautiful views! A visit to the Prison Museum in Veenhuizen ( also via the junction cycling route). Impressive, the story of the Colonies of Benevolence. To the Kofferbakbak market in Vledder, where we bought warm hand-knit wool socks. There also visited the Museum of False Art. Great.. Restaurant Posten Nordic in Frederiksoord with Scandinavian cuisine is also recommended. Pricey but definitely worth the money. Margriet, we enjoyed your cozy, comfortable house in a beautiful setting. Who knows, see you soon!

My wife and I more than "enjoyed" Marieke and Jaap's place! We have every intention of coming here again! It's just fanatical and for those who just want to get away from it all and switch off and unwind, just the right thing! Kind regards Farzad and Alina

Last weekend I had an unforgettable stay with friends in a beautiful house surrounded by nature. The house was spacious and comfortable, ideal for our group. The area offered plenty of opportunities for relaxation and adventure, with beautiful walks and a visit to a charming village. It was a perfect weekend to enjoy and recharge together, and we look forward to coming back again.

Lovely area around the lake. A pity the restaurant wasn’t open. Plenty of parking for our trailer in car park area.

Very beautiful house and we are very happy about our stay

We had 4 wonderful days in the cottage. The cottage is beautiful among the trees, it felt wonderful to be so close to nature. We felt right at home upon arrival, there is a spacious, nice kitchen with all the amenities you need, the cottage has large windows with beautiful views of the trees and the garden. Just like a painting when you look outside. There is also a lovely sofa where we could chill with our family. We cycled to the outdoor center for a cup of coffee the first morning. Very nice that this beautiful location is so close to the cottage. The village of Norg is also at a nice distance from the cottage, everything you need is there. We have used the pool, the butcher, the supermarket and 1 restaurant. Nice, friendly village. The area is beautiful and there is a lot to do. We would like to come back to this cottage again. Extra thanks to Rineke for her quick response and flexibility.

Wonderful place to stay in Oosterwolde – highly recommended! We had a great stay at Geert's place! Even though we did not meet Geert in person upon arrival, communication with him was super friendly and straightforward. He was always available and very helpful – you immediately notice that he cares about the well-being of his guests. The place itself was just perfect: very clean, tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you need. Surroundings is quiet and invites you to relax – we immediately felt comfortable. We can fully recommend this Airbnb and will definitely be back! Thank you, Geert, for the great time!

Clean new cottage with beautiful views of a meadow where a deer came by daily. Nice garden with terrace to sit in the sun or in the shade. We enjoyed it.

Fantastic, beautiful location, super cozy house. Fits 7, but 6 is perfect!!
