Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Nolin Lake

I cannot say enough good things about this property. It is exactly as described....immaculate, easy instructions for all appliances, etc., easy check in and checkout, furnishings very very comfortable, beautiful location, the game room was a big hit for our 3 teenagers, as was the fire pit (we used it nightly). Great place to relax after a day of activities and there is a lot to do in the area...cave tours (we booked ours in advance), hiking, fishing, kayaking, ziplining. Animal Kingdom was a pleasant surprise and enjoyed by all (I recommend renting a golf cart while you are there - it was a lot of fun). Nothing was more than a 30 minute drive from the property, and the drive is beautiful. Gaby, host, was very responsive to all of my questions and she responded quickly. I highly recommend "Gather at Serenity Cove."

The hosts were great. Answered our questions within the hour. The home was amazing. Thoughtful touches, including lots of extras in the kitchen and bathrooms. Bath towels were luxurious. Decor was tasteful. Space was spotless. Deck and porch were great and we all loved the swing! Arcade games, table tennis, and foosball downstairs were fun for the kids and adults. Beds were comfy too!

Great place for our two small families to stay! We felt right at home and the space was very cozy! We enjoyed the firepit area and they had a great game selection. Convenient to Mammouth Cave National Park!

This cottage was clean, peaceful and gorgeous! So comfortable and lots of outside space to relax. Host was very responsive when we had a question. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Allie was the BEST host! The home was immaculate with everything you need and more. The hot tub was so nice after long days of hiking. The beautiful location was safe and serene - we enjoyed reading and drinking coffee on the porch. Everything was perfect and we had the best time. One of the best places we have stayed in!

Jennifer’s place was great! We loved the home - great kitchen, nice living room, and clean bedrooms/bathrooms. The dining table was great for playing games. The area is very sleepy but peaceful. It was a nice escape! Would recommend staying here. Jennifer is also a great host and very responsive.

We really enjoyed our stay. Sara’s home was very cute, clean, and in a good location. She was. Wry responsive to any questions we had. Appreciated the fenced back yards for our pups. Would recommend to others.

We really enjoyed our stay at Crystals spot. We only stayed for a night as we were visiting Mammoth Cave and other attractions but could have easily stayed another night. The beds were comfortable and while there was a train, I only heard it one time and it didn't keep me awake. We didn't need to use the heat which was good as it looked intimidating and as I had 2 children, would have been a little worried. My kids loved the animals around the area. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

It was a beautiful place the only negative part was that the pool was not finished set up yet but we came at a bad part of the year

The communication was easy and timely. We arrived at night with no issues and were very surprised to wake up in the morning and look out the window to giant yards and beautiful fall trees! The amenities were wonderful and the snacks were delicious. The space is very cozy and well taken care of, loved it!

The decor was modern, stylish, and calming — like something out of a boutique magazine, but still totally livable and cozy. Everything was spotless (seriously, not a dust bunny in sight), and all the little touches made it feel special without being overdone. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, striking that perfect balance of being available but not intrusive. Check-in was seamless, and the vibe of the whole experience was relaxed and easygoing. If you're looking for a space that feels both elevated and homey, clean and cool, with just the right amount of personality — this is it. I’d absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat!

The place was perfect for my bach party during Kentucky derby weekend. Especially with booking the top room as well. There was a door that combined both air bnbs. It was so helpful being able to go back and forth for both of my groups that were staying in their respective rooms. Amazing host no complaints on the stay what so ever. The only issue I ever see arising with this place is parking if you have people you don’t know stay in the other apartment. Definitely max of 4 cars fit in the driveway. And the sound levels for the bottom residents. But it is described in the description so if you complain about it then that’s on you for booking it knowing the situation. Loved the golf course right down the road. Good restaurants and walkable pizza shop and liquor store. Really was a great weekend with my friends and I thank Shaalim for being so responsive during the 10 months we communicated back and forth when I booked.

Had a small issue with ants in the kitchen area due to a rainstorm the night we arrived, but otherwise the place worked perfectly for us on our trip to the national park.

Very close to a shops and restaurants. Downtown Elizabethtown is gorgeous. Deborah was very welcoming and her apartment is adorable.

Our stay at the Hotel Alexander could not have been better. The accommodations, location, and comfort were top notch. We are already planning a return trip!

Really enjoyed my stay. Good location, lots around you to take advantage of, and the place was very well set up for me when I got there. Super convenient check in process. Would absolutely stay again!

I arrived early. Was accommodated and let in early. . The place was clean. Everything worked.there were 0 issues the entire time i was there. Close to every shopping thing you can imagine. Would deff stay again.

Thank you for the fine hospitality of your air b&b. The cleanliness, organization, all showed how well the preparation was made in advance before my checkin. Dieditely will be booking again with Todd in the future and recommend anyone traveling through Elizabeth to stay in his air b&b. So far, I feel very welcomed with the Elizabeth area 👍🏻
