Greenhouse Camelback in the Bywater

PaulineRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The place was absolutely amazing. I like to stay at the house I pick even when out of town , I don't have to just go, go, go, and this is the house to do it. Plenty of space to have people with you and still find a spot to be on your own. It's close enough to walk to the French Quarter and far enough away from all the noise to be able to work or study if you need. There are so many wonderful things to look at on the walls and the assortment of books to go through is just mind blowing. The kitchen is a dream, the beds are super comfy, and the house is just so inviting and homey. I will definitely try to make it back there and some point, and will recommend the house to anyone I know heading to NOLA. Thank you so much, Jedi, for opening up your place to us.

Family Fun Near New Orleans

KristinaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I stayed here for 10 days total. 7 of those days I was recovering from surgery. I was looking for a place that was out of the hustle and bustle of New Orleans, but close enough for me to get to appointments in the Garden District. This place was perfect! It was very quiet and felt private. I loved that the backyard had a covered area so we could still sit outside even on rainy days. All of the furniture and beds were comfortable. The whole house was very clean. I had a few questions for the host before and during the stay. She was always quick to respond and very helpful. I loved that there was a Walmart just a few minutes away. There is also a cute coffee shop within walking distance we went to a few times. Check in and checkout were seamless. I honestly have no complaints. I would definitely stay here again and I will be recommending it to others!

New Marigny Bungalow

EdRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The house is easy to find with convenient parking right in front. We found it well maintained, very clean and very comfortable. Our host Hunter provided very clear directions and good recommendations. He informed us of the nearby train yard and possibility of hearing the trains or related activities but we were not bothered in the least. After all the walking and exploring we did, the house was the perfect place to wind down for a good nights rest.! Location proved to be better than we could’ve hoped for. We were able to walk to some wonderful neighborhood establishments like Pepp’s Pub, ST COFFEE, Brieux Carre Brewing, and others. We also found walking to Bourbon St was a great way to explore the local architecture and history along the way. Recommend visitors also check out Rajun Cajun Airboat Tours and the New Orleans Garden District History walking Tours. This bungalow is a wonderful place to stay and we would be delighted to stay here again next visit.

Cozy Bungalow right outside the French Quarter

Evi-LuiseRating, 5 stars2 months ago
I was beyond pleased with my experience. Patricia was an incredible host. Communication was top notch. She was concerned about every aspect of my stay and checked in frequently. The little bungalow is ADORABLE. Close to everything! The airport, my son's home in St. Rose, and also downtown New Orleans. It was spotless, easy to access, and the neighborhood felt safe and was, most importantly for me, quiet. I was worried about staying in a hotel during Mardi Gras because of the noise. I can't say enough about how pleased I was with my stay. The value was honestly far better than staying at a hotel. I loved the peaceful outdoor space out back. Everything was comfortable and thoughtfully done. Check in/out was simple and straightforward. I won't hesitate to book again for my next visit. Already planning on it. Thank you for a great stay and I'll look forward to the next one!
