Lovely, peaceful place close to the beach. Harriëtte was super responsive with every request and went above and beyond as a host. We particularly liked the recommendations on all the best local beaches and restaurants. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Highlight of the apartment for us was the private outdoor shower. The decor throughout the apartment has been carefully thought out and fits its calm surroundings. Thanks again.

Airbnb was a dream to be in. It is beautiful, clean, super equipped and has a fantastic location, as well as a fantastic pool. We were completely delighted and our expectations were even exceeded. Anyone coming to Sri Lanka should stay here. Awesome place I've ever had. The on-site staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. There is no need for improvement here.

We loved our stay at Telo! The villa was beautiful and the perfect little haven to come back to in between exploring Ahangama and its surrounding areas. It was exactly as described in the photos. It’s a little bit away from the main area of ahangama which we really loved as it meant it was nice and peaceful at night. We rented a scooter to get around and would highly recommend. The team onsite were super helpful in organising everything for us too! We’ll hopefully be back! :)

We stayed for a week and loved every minute! The location is perfect, peaceful and private but only a short Tuktuk ride from Ahangama town. It’s not traditional self-catering, so no kitchen access but the wonderful staff are on hand to make you whatever you like, no request too much! We had our own private firework display and the team installed full length mirrors for us when we realised there wasn’t one. Honestly the team are lovely, discreet but always there to help. The villa isn’t in the heart of town, but only 5 mins Tuktuk or 30 min walk, which for us on a family holiday was perfect, quiet in the evenings, but so easy to go to the lively bars and restaurants in town. We loved it here! Thank you so much to all the team

Located in Rekawa beach (near Ranna) about 10km from Tangalle, this isolated, oceanfront villa is the perfect getaway - I can't recommend it enough! The pictures do not do this place justice. Hans was responsive and helpful. The house staff were attentive and hospitable and we took advantage of paying for local food and having the staff cook for us during our three night stay - an incredible value based on local restaurant prices (and yummy too!). There is a restaurant closeby if you prefer that. The house is very large; the back yard and pool area spectacular; and the beach access great. You can also have the staff schedule multiple day trips to surrounding areas so this is a great base for exploring the southern coast. Highly recommended!

We had the most incredible stay! Bianca and her team were absolutely amazing—so kind, thoughtful, and attentive. They truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, from the little details in the space to helping us with local recommendations and anything we needed during our stay. The place itself was beautiful and super comfortable, but it was the hospitality that made it feel like a home away from home. Can’t recommend this place enough—thank you, Bianca, for everything!

We had a truly beautiful and relaxing stay. Kavinda our host went above and beyond for us, and the chef’s cooking was absolutely perfect—they even shopped for all the ingredients! The villa’s rustic charm made it feel extra special. Though the beach hut had some weather damage, Buddika let us know in advance and kindly offered a BBQ, which was such a thoughtful touch. Sadly, we were involved in a serious accident on our way to the airport, but even from abroad, Buddika supported us incredibly—liaising with Etihad and sending her husband to visit us. Despite the unfortunate end, our stay was truly wonderful, and we highly recommend it.

Clare’s place was everything & more than what we were expecting. The villa is absolutely beautiful, set in the most peaceful & tranquil surroundings. Nuwan’s cooking and hosting was the cherry on the top of our experience. Tushara also really looked after us. We were able to organise 3 private yoga classes & a massage - personal highlights of my stay at the villa. All of the above meant that whenever we left the villa, we wanted to get back straight away to our private paradise even though Ahangama is a great area to visit. Highly recommend staying and experiencing the beauty of Villa Sisila!!

We stayed in Hiriketiya for a few days in early April and had an amazing time in the area. Siri the housekeeper really made our stay, he was amazing helping us with any house questions we had as well as giving us recommendations in the area and telling us fun facts about Hiriketiya.

This place is beautiful beyond words. The staff here make it the ultimate holiday experience. The food that comes out of the kitchen is delicious both western and local food. This place is simply hospitality done well. We hope to return ❤️

We had a great time at this beautiful villa. It’s absolutely stunning and well located to the heart of Ahangama. Tim was extremely helpful and responsive. The staff were not overhearing and left us to get on with things. The breakfasts were delicious and portions generous. One morning we had the Sri Lankan breakfast and the next the international breakfast with delicious butter milk pancakes. Dinner was also great and the chef worked hard to provide a variety as everyone ordered something different. Thanks Gamunu and co we enjoyed our time at the villa.

We loved our stay at the Palm Lanka. Beautifully designed & decorated house, well located near beach & cafes. Suresh and Manel were the highlight, making us feel so welcome & comfortable. The meals - breakfasts & dinners - were amongst the best we have had in Sri Lanka & Suresh was extremely helpful with any requests we made. Highly recommend!

The Mugatiya is a very special place. We stayed with family friends for a week and had the holiday of a lifetime. Ahangama is a chilled place with some very cool bars and restaurants here and there. I wouldn't say that the beach is walkable due to kids and the heat but tuktuks are easily arranged.

The villa was immaculate and felt so homely as soon as I arrive, my family then arrived and 2am and the villa manager stayed awake to greet them. Jerome and his wife were beyond hospitable and the team cooking and cleaning the same. The food is exceptional and exceeded expectations. The villa is situated a few steps above the beautiful, what felt like our very own private beach. The garden is beautiful and perfect for the full family to enjoy from found to old Our stay was perfect, thank you

The beautiful Beach House - Reef House - is located in a quiet spot in Madhia overlooking the ocean. The location is around 20 to 25 minutes drive to Mirissa beach with Welligama beach little further ahead. The location worked perfectly for us since our intention was mainly to relax and step out for short outings. While one cannot swim in the ocean in front of the house, we enjoyed the soothing sounds of waves & dips in the pool. The reef house is tastefully done, comfortable with basic amenities including good wifi. There’s a room on the ground floor which is perfect for elderly guests or anyone who might find stairs challenging. Swell cafe for coffee fix is right opposite the house. Charitha is cordial, prompt with replies & is available to answer queries. Indika is kind & took excellent care of us. Siri cooked us delicious meals. This was our first time living with pets and to be honest Gaston and Bella were a delight to have around. We had memorable stay at the Reef House.

the room was beautiful, very aesthetic, the pool was clean. beach is 20 mins walking. the access to the hotel a slightly on the inside. the host welcomed us with watermelon juice, the breakfast was superb. drinking water bottles are provided which isn't the same in Srilanka. all the amenities were good . the bedroom was clean, the bathroom is spacious. everything mentioned in the listed was available.

The Green House is a little oasis of calm from the hustle and bustle of the busier parts of Sri Lanka. Immaculately presented with three great bedrooms with ensuite shower rooms, the house is clean and modern. All the staff involved in looking after us and the house were also a real delight - so accommodating and helpful in every aspect. a short walk to a wonderful beach which the kids loved made this one of the best places that we stayed in during our whole trip. Thank you everyone at The Green House!

We have travelled the world and I can only say that Anjelee was one of the best hosts I have ever experienced. The house is really beautiful and so is the garden. All the people working as staff deserve a medal. I personally - am not that much into the class system, so it wasn't for me to depend so much on service from staff but it seems to be a norm in SriLanka... so please don't take it as criticism... everyone was so polite and nice that I would feel terrible to criticize anything... Thank you!

The place was fantastic. Exactly as the photos show and we had a wonderful stay. So spacious and clean. It was a bit hard to access as we were travelling by car, I would recommend taking a tuk tuk instead as it would be much easier. Overall fab time :) thank you

I am a solo traveller and had all the best intentions of travelling Sri Lanka. Having fell in love with the coast, I decided to change plan and book a villa for a few days. Wow, blown away by this place. Exactly like the photos, if not better. The beach is so private and love that you can see the waves crashing from your bed/outside dining area. Very well thought out. What made this extra special was the service levels from Charith, what a top guy! Nothing was too much trouble. Very responsive and attentive but always respecting privacy. Thank you for making me feel at home and so well looked after. Outside the villa, lots of lovely cafes and restaurants within walking distance. My first time in Sri Lanka but I’ll defiantly return. Loved the diverse landscapes, food and most of all the people.

Yvan is an amazing host! He was there for both check-in and check-out, offering great recommendations on where to eat, surf, and party. We even went surfing together. After I checked out, I realized I had forgotten my charger, and he kindly brought it back to me.

Stayed at don’s place for 3 days! What an amazing villa he has! It has a cute small pool to r lax and chill. Its surrounded with sooooo manyyyyy trees!! Could literally hear the birds in the morning.. felt so peaceful living here. One can easily live here for a month. Don is such a cutie, so helpful with everything.. Still cant get over his place will loveee to visit and stay for a longer time
