We had a wonderful stay! The accommodation was super comfortable and flexible. For New Year’s, we joined everyone for dinner, which was delicious and such a cozy experience. Later, we walked to a small club called “Lazies,” where a great DJ was playing at the rooftop bar—such a fun vibe! The location is close to the beach with a nice surf atmosphere. The room was clean and tidy. Highly recommend!

Sri Mathie was the perfect getaway property for us and Guy was such an amazing host. It is nestled in the jungle with beautiful flora and fauna all around the property. Wonderful architecture, art, and open spaces make it a unique stay. Lots of things to do close by and with Guy's help everything was accessible. Also relaxing and peaceful just to stay on the property and enjoy everything it has to offer. Guy really made the stay extra special, the hospitality we were shown was so nice. Amazing meals filled with intention, wonderful conversation, perfect amount of privacy while feeling taken care of, cant say enough good things!

Hôte très accueillant qui à l’arrivée vous donne des recommandations de lieux et restaurants, plages accessibles à 2mn à pied, vraiment bien situé. Bon rapport qualité-prix, on recommande !

Easily one of the best places I’ve stayed at. Clean, beautifully maintained with lots of privacy and nature all around. I saw at-least 10 different species of birds just during breakfast. You can hear the ocean in the nights. Lots of cute cafés and shacks around. Not that you’ll visit any of them if Manju cooks your first meal there 🤷🏽‍♀️ Anke was always responsive and very helpful and Manju - the kindest, friendly, most knowledgeable and helpful man you’ll meet. He cooks with so much love, thought and passion, you can taste it in every morsel. Everyday we’d wake up excited for the breakfast and we couldn’t wait to get back for dinner to see what storm he’s cooked up! His recommendations were also on point and he was always just a call/message away. We got to truly turn off our brains, unwind and relax! We’re definitely coming back ❤️

Sommes restés 4 nuits, très beau logement, belle cuisine, tout est fonctionnel.Tres bon accueil de Nisha, toujours souriante et prête à vous rendre service. Elle a même adapté le petit déjeuner à la française qui est copieux ... elle a réservé un scooter pour nous, bus, tuk tuk à proximité, petite supérette de dépannage, très bon restaurant pas cher à 5 mn sur la plage. Nous recommandons fortement.

Donis place is one of our favourite places in Sri Lanka! We even came back a second time because we just love it here. The room is so clean and beautifully decorated, the bathroom as well and it smells so good:)) The best is doni herself. She made us an incredible breakfast every morning and let us use the washing machine for free! Also she is such a kind and caring person. She made us really feel at home! The area itself is really quiet and we could rent a scooter from doni to explore the beautiful beaches! I’m sure we will be back a third time if we can :))

My stay at the Native was great. Diana and everyone who works there are so friendly and helpful. It was nice to be a little inland from the beach and see a different part of Weligama. Definitely walkable, but renting a scooter makes it more convenient. The breakfasts and coffee in the morning were all very delicious and a very nice added value to the room. Thank you for the great stay!

Дом наполнен важными мелочами, которые создают уют и комфорт в повседневной жизни: от крана для промывки ног сразу за воротами до ершика в туалете, от кофейного столика с кофе, чаем, водой и фруктами до стильных дизайнерских решений в гостиной и спальне. А как тут готовят – просто восторг! 🤩 Если вы устали от карри 😁, обязательно закажите ужин в этом доме – европейская кухня, без избытка специй, все очень гармонично и вкусно. We had a great time staying at Locale! The included breakfast was a great benefit. They helped us organise laundry and a bike and were just so nice if we needed anything. The restaurant is so good and the cocktails are amazing. It was great value and pretty quiet unlike the centre of Weligama! A great place to base yourself if you want to visit different parts of the south west coast.
