Bathroom has a unique shower, stocked with shampoo and body wash. Plush towels provided. Community laundry at the front of the unit. There is an upright freezer to accommodate!

Offering a full kitchen, bathroom , shower, this cabin has electric lights and a oil heater in place of the temperamental wood stoves. Our area offers stunning views of Kachamack bay, our ranch and peony farm. We have 2 cabins that sleep 4 each. Sitting on 10 acres. Sandhill Cranes, local birds, and plenty of moose. There is a cow moose with twins again. We are 4 miles from Anchor Point, and the world renowned Anchor River. We are 5 miles from the ocean. A large lot to park and turn your toys around in right by your cabin. Absolutely no pets allowed…. We love animals, yet do not want to clean up after them and do not want the allergens for future guests. Very private and peaceful.

Kilcher Family Homestead “Barn” as seen on TV!

The Barn is surrounded by beautiful views everywhere! My family is excited to come back again and share the location with another family with kids. The road down to the barn is adventurous! Make sure you have the right car and a driver who can handle a bumpy dirt road. We were comfortable and had a peaceful evening at the Barn. In the morning my husband, daughter, and I enjoyed a short walk along the road to take in spectacular views of Kachemak Bay.

Good place, nice peaceful energy and clean environment. Shower popped off, with two shower heads and super hot water. The only thing we didn’t love was having to walk so far to the bathroom (and that the bathroom was cold) but it’s worth the price and location. Owner was responsive and friendly. WiFi was decent. Really nice simple white decor

Glamping "Light House” on Kilcher Homestead

Wow, what an incredible trip! I honestly didn’t know what to expect when I visited, but Stella was the nicest host ever. She gave me a wonderful tour of the Homestead, and I even got to explore her childhood home. For fans of the show, I had the amazing luck of meeting Otto—such a fluke, but I’m super thankful! If you enjoy the show or the Homestead life, this is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back next year!
