Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Niigata

We had an amazing stay at Geoff and Aki’s place! They are incredibly caring hosts who made sure our trip was comfortable and unforgettable. They provided us with all the necessary information about the area and were always ready to help with visiting local attractions. The house itself was warm and cozy, with a breathtaking view from the window. At the end of February, there was a lot of snow, and the nearby ski resort was open – we could even walk there! Getting to the house by taxi from Nagano was easy, but traveling back without a car was a bit tricky. Fortunately, Geoff was very kind and helped us with transportation when needed. We truly appreciate their hospitality and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful stay in Nagano!

This house is huge and old. So many rooms. Interesting Japanese antiques and art. Nicely refurbished. Very interesting area. Great walking and hiking opportunities. Not a touristy area, but very beautiful. I will recommend it to my friend who will visit Japan soon. Management and communication is great. Tomorrow, thank you so much.

Since our boat was cancelled, we needed to take the boat from another dock, it was late at night when we checked in, the gps location took us the wrong way… There were no lights and it was pitch black and we were a little scared，But when we open the doors，very clean and tidy, comfortable bedding, and even careful to help children prepare children's toiletries and slippers，at night time some bugs come out ， and the courtyard is beautiful during the day，Our family spent two days in comfort。

離車站非常的近，方便有滑雪的夥伴入住，但價格稍高，總而言之喜歡這次的體驗！

The Host was quick in response and gave all the details necessary to locate the house and check-in. The House was very comfortable and had all the necessities for a enjoyable stay. Really had a good stay.

It’s my second time staying at the Nozawa Gondola Apartments. Different room this time but just as wonderful as before. Clean nicely designed house, well equipped kitchen, and can’t ask for a better location if you’re headed for the slopes!

Kazuki and his co-hosts were extremely helpful when a show storm shutdown all the trains and buses. Local recommendations were provided. A health emergency occurred in our group and they came to our rescue providing above and beyond care getting our friend to the clinic and further transportation assistance. Other than that this place is actually slightly bigger than it looks like in the photos. It’s the last house in the driveway and it very quiet and private with large trees bordering the back of the house. I want to go back already! Thanks everyone! We appreciate everything you did for us!

I stayed in Kesepase for the most part of the winter and I had a great experience. In a quiet area with the closest lift about 500m from the house, slightly uphill walk but not a problem for snowboarders. You can ski all the way to the back of the house thanks to the old ski slope. The staff keeps the house clean every day. There's a parking, a laundry machine, drying machine, a lot of storage room and a an equipped kitchen so the place is suitable for a long stay. It's an older house so you have to crank up the heaters to stay warm on the cold winter days.

広くて、開放的で、リビングからテラスに出ると海が見られて、夕陽が綺麗で、最高のロケーションです。 サイトの、そして管理人さんの、対応も良かったです。

아이와 동반하여 숙박하였습니다. 계단에 어린이 안전용 울타리 문도 설치해주셨습니다. 중심가에 오고가는 것에 있어서는 렌터카나 택시를 이용해야하는 위치지만, 마을이 조용하고 예뻐서 그러한 점을 제외하고는 불편한 점이 없었습니다. 택시나 식당 예약에 있어서도 차분히 큰 도움을 주셨습니다.

My family and I had a wonderful time at Tani House. The host welcomed us personally and gave us lots of tips for restaurants and things to do in the area. She was always available if we had additional questions or requests. As for the house, although it is an old traditional house, the beautiful renovation makes it so it is very comfortable and offers any facility you may need. It was a joy to spend time in the house and its design. A plus was the river that was perfect for swimming and only a 3 minute walk. It is perfect for exploring both the Yuzawa and the Tokamachi area. Highly recommend staying here.

This place just simply great for our large group. Lots of very well equipped rooms. Wonderful living space with elegantly furnished which made it feel like a luxurious villa house. Extremely lovely surroundings for a walk around. Kids had a wonderful time. Regret that we booked just for a night only. We will come back again.
