Private room next to public Onsen

LewisRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Great location, a few minutes walk from the restaurants/bars in town & from the lower chair lift. Above the cafe is super convenient for breakfast or food. Everyone was very helpful throughout our stay, would definitely be back!
A snow-covered street is framed by traditional wooden buildings and modern architecture. Snow blankets the ground and rooftops, creating a serene winter landscape. Streetlights are partially obscured by falling snow, and an individual can be seen walking along the pathway, highlighted against the snowy backdrop.

Yoji Nozawa Studio Apartment in Nozawa Onsen

LucyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Yoji Studio! Amy and the host were incredibly helpful and provided us with amazing recommendations. We stayed whilst we were snowboarding, the accommodation has the added bonus of 20% off the snow rental shop on the slopes! The place felt just like home, so close to all amenities and plentiful space, utensils in the little kitchenette. Coffee machine was great too! Lovely comfy king sized bed to rest in after a long day on the slopes! There is a washer dryer to use with complimentary detergent, also shampoo, conditioner etc in the bathroom! Smart TV and wifi for the nights we stayed in. Next door is the studio space with gym and yoga equipment; a stones throw away from a local (free) onsen to soak those aching muscles! All round great hosts, a great little spot, couldn’t be happier with the week we had staying here! Thank you so much for having us ☺️

Hakuba Lodge OMUSUBI / ski in ski out location

AnnetteRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We had a great stay at Omusubi. Ryuichi, as everyone else mentioned, is such a helpful and kind host who greeted us personally. He gave us great recommendations and is always responsive when we had questions. The place is a walk away from Cortina and a few mins drive from Norikura, so convenient for skiing. The whole unit is clean and spacious, and the heating is great! The only slightly downside is that the soundproofing isn’t so great, so you’d hear sounds from the next room and outside if there is significant noise. Thankfully the area doesn’t seem to be noisy so we weren’t too affected. Overall it is still an excellent option for the Hakuba area!
A spacious apartment is displayed, featuring a comfortable sleeping area with a neatly made bed. Large windows allow natural light to fill the room, while wooden beams add character. A simple wooden table with chairs is positioned near the entrance.

Great place. The room is in a cabin that’s part of a larger resort. Super friendly staff. Clean room. No air conditioning but the temperatures in the mountain are moderate so didn’t need it.

[Entire top floor corner room in apartment building] Within walking distance of Takadanobaba Station, there is also free parking

GoGo62Rating, 5 stars1 month ago
I used it as a base camp for spring skiing for 3 nights. Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort is just an hour away from Shiga Kogen. It was about an hour and 40 minutes. There are many supermarkets nearby, so you can buy food and drinks on the way home. I was able to enjoy delicious local ingredients There was also a private parking lot, which was very helpful. There was an apartment at the end of the fine arcade of Takada Station. We didn't have time to walk nearby, but there seemed to be a lot of good restaurants. The room is a corner room on the 11th floor, with the sunshine and the view is amazing. Myoko was very clean with snow.
A compact room features a spacious bed with a quilted cover in dark tones. A wooden chair and small table are positioned against the wall, while a television is mounted on a nearby stand. Natural light enters through large glass doors, enhancing the simple decor.

Cosy ski-in,ski-out apartment above cafe in Nozawa

VisRating, 5 stars4 months ago
The check in location was different from the actual home to stay in, I was a bit winded from walking up the steep hills to check in location and then when I was dropped off at the location the driver did not tell me what room # we were in, or the 2.5 flight of stairs I needed to climb with all my luggage. The place location is PRIME for snowboarding because the lifts are basically right outside the door, but the check in while dealing with all the luggage up the steep hills and stairs was a small nightmare. So just be prepared for the hills.
A well-furnished living area features a tan leather sofa positioned in front of a large window, allowing natural light to illuminate the space. A sleek bar stool stands nearby, next to a kitchen bar with minimalist decor.

Thank you for repairing the ramp to the entrance.I was able to travel with my pet LOVE, and it made me feel better.Mr. Bunzaemon's place is particularly well-equipped in the kitchen, so apart from going out for lunch, we didn't eat out at all, and we bought ingredients to cook ourselves for breakfast and dinner, which was economical.7 nights and 8 days passed in no time.I hope to repeat. Thanks for your hospitality.

The ski resort is right in front of you, and there is also a drying room, which is convenient and comfortable, so it will be your second time using it.There was heavy snow this year, but the road to the building was also removed, so I was relieved. Lloyd, the host, was flexible with check-in, checkout, and shopping at the supermarket, which was helpful. The kids love it.

Woww. This must be one of our most favorite stays in Japan! The actual place definitely looks even better than in the pictures! The two-floor apartment (a house really) is so spacious and so tastefully decorated. The house has so many glass windows that let in a lot of sunlight, a lot brighter than in the pictures! A perfect place to relax and spend a wonderful evening with friends and family especially after a full day of a skiing trip. We loved the kotatsu and the gas fan heaters. :))) We loved everything about the house really. Sayuri was wonderful host. We greatly appreciated our time at your place. Thank you so much!
