Beautiful home and attentive host! Sam is very thoughtful and thorough. We appreciated the attention to detail and information on the house and area. Sam is easy to communicate with. We found the location great for activities in the Iron River area. The house is well appointed and comfortable. Perfect for our group of six. We loved the view from the kitchen and enjoyed the cozy TV room. Really liked the bed and bath arrangement. One consideration: our winter gear filled the small entry way as there is no real place for coats or ski gear. That said, we would definitely consider staying again! The lake during the summer would be wonderful!

Tricia's Sister Bay condo was the PERFECT place to stay in Door County. It was so comfortable, clean and close to everything you would want to do. Beyond the condo itself, Tricia was INCREDIBLY quick to respond and help us with any questions. We booked her place very last minute because another reservation ended up in a disaster and we had to quickly rebooked. Within minutes she turned around the information we needed and got us checked in and comfortable. I can't recommend her highly enough.

We had a great time at Nicholas’ house. The size was perfect for the three of us. The view of the lake was beautiful, we could see the sunrise every morning from the window. Our dog enjoyed playing outside and running down from the house to the lake. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook. The beds were comfy and we also used the pull out sofa/bed. We also had a bonfire our last night there. It was a very peaceful and relaxing time we spent there.

Absolutely loved this trip. A wonderful welcome basket with wine and snacks was waiting for us upon arrival. We made full use of the fireplace to stay nice and warm during the cold, snowy weekend. Being right along the river was amazing and made for a beautiful view. We utilized the snow shoes to walk along the frozen river and creek which was extremely fun. This was the best cabin we’ve stayed in and we will be sure to recommend to anyone looking for a great place to spend the weekend.

This beautiful cottage on the shore of Lake Michigan was clean, comfortable, and quiet. It featured a deck and shared outdoor games and equipment. The kitchen was fully furnished, and designated parking was just a few steps from the cottage. The hosts were friendly and quick to respond to any questions. I would highly recommend this place for a short or long term stay. It is a gem!

We have stayed here several times and we love it more with each visit. Mike and Amy have invested in their property and there are new updates with each year. There is newer furniture than what is pictured. The lake is so nice for swimming!!! And having access to all the kayaks, paddle boat, etc makes the stay so much more fun and relaxing. Sitting on the deck listening to the loons and star gazing is the perfect end to the day!

Lake Cottage: Private with Sunset Views

The Lake Cottage was exactly as pictured - clean, nostaglic, modernized amentities and loads of vintage charge. We booked last minute for a New Years Eve hurrah with my husband and two children (ages 3 & 8), and my only regret is not staying longer. We snowboarded, ice-fished, played board games, did puzzles... and simply enjoyed our time together. It was restorative and the cottage is conducive to slowing down and savoring each moment. The property (albiet Winter) was spacious and felt private, tucked down the long(er) drive with a single neighbor in sight. Elizabeth, the host, was incredibly responsive and helpful. 10/10, will probably book again!

The place was just right for our girls getaway. It had a great location right on the lake. Since it was late fall it was very quiet. Would love to come back when it is warm to enjoy the water. The place itself was wonderful, the picturea didn't deceive.

This charming cabin in Gwinn was the perfect spot for our fall getaway! The location was super convenient, allowing us to easily explore nearby Marquette while still enjoying the peace and quiet of the lakeside. Waking up to the stunning lake view each morning was a highlight, and the beautiful fall colors surrounding the area made the experience even more magical. The cabin had everything we needed to feel right at home, making our stay comfortable and stress-free. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the season!

We had a great stay at Green Gables Apple Airbnb! Our check in went smoothly and Host Colin was great at communication and making sure everything was going well with our stay. The location is convenient to many shops and restaurants and SIP is within walking distance across the street. It is perfectly furnished and very comfortable, bright, cheery and cozy while still spacious. The amenities were as listed and just what was needed. The bed and bedding was very comfortable. The extra half bath was also a plus. We highly recommend Colin and would definitely stay here again!

Shelly was super responsive and overall an amazing hostess. She helped us with any questions we had before the trip and the couple we had during. She always responded within 30 mins of us reaching out :) The cabin was exactly as described in the listing and had everything we needed! Plus it was right around the corner from Ski Brule so we never had to travel to ski. Would highly recommend staying here- we will be coming back!

We had a great week of snowmobiling out of Nikki’s Lodge on the lake in the woods. Our group of 16 guys had plenty of room to hangout comfortably, plenty of kitchen and eating space, and a great time all being together rather than renting 8 hotel rooms for the week. What a cost savings for us and was way better being together all the time. We snowmobiled out of the cabin to the groomed trails a couple of days, and trailered to Republic and Champion the other days. We had some phenomenal riding. We brought ice fishing gear for the private lake but not enough time on this trip, maybe next time we’ll fish either in summer or winter. The deer walking up to the back deck and eating out of our hands was an awesome experience as well. I would highly recommend Nikki’s place for a big group of family or friends. We will definitely be back again!

Our stay was amazing! Everything was as described. Super clean! Tracy made sure to answer all questions. The house had all the necessary amenities and we enjoyed our stay with some family and friends! Plenty of space to spread out as well. The back patio was great to have a fire in the evening. What a wonderful & beautiful property! There is so much to explore inside and out with fun surprises around every corner. More than enough room to find your own space when you want, and fantastic gathering spaces for the whole group. There is plenty to do no matter what weather. Saying the kitchen is ready for anything is an understatement, every utensil, appliance, and most spices you would need to cook anything are there! We did feel the cleaning fee was steep, but the place was immaculate. Not a spot of dust or dirt anywhere. Hearing the swans call to each other at night and in the early morning was a treat most people never experience. We loved our stay and hope to return again soon!

Great for the entire family!

We came up for a week long snowmobiling trip. The home is newer open concept. It had lots of space for the 7 of us. The upstairs has baseboard heating and the basement has floor heating. The garage as floor heating as well. We had three large trailers which was accommodating. The beds were a mix of firm-soft. The bed I slept in the basement was perfect for me. We had one hiccup with the shower head not functioning correctly, but she came and fixed it the next morning without hesitation. Would definitely consider staying again.

Great location in the upper peninsula. the house is situated on a beautiful lake in the woods. It is equipped with all the comforts of home and well suited for large groups. Jessamine is extremely quick, friendly, and help when responding to messages. We loved our long weekend stay and would highly recommend this house to anyone.
