2 Bed in Abergavenny (42909)

Probably the most beautiful cottage I've ever stayed in. I didn't quite realise how private the property was, set down the short drive away from the adorable lane, nestled in the rolling hills, with the sheep, lambs and the little lake, we really couldn't get over how beautiful this place is. The outdoor games, sun loungers, hot tub and garden space make it the perfect get away. We had a dog which was great for them to run around. The rolling hills and canal were so stunning. So relaxing and tranquil. The pub down the lane was great also. We were not ready for how beautiful and well set up this airbnb was! Don't often re-book the same place but we will definitely be back, thank you for a lovely stay.

Relax, log fires hot tub & foreshore walks!

LisaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We’ve just arrived home from the most peaceful break in Woolaston. The home was beautiful, relaxing and clean. We enjoyed using the hot tub looking out on magnificent views. We quietly watched a great tit fly back and forth feeding its chicks, looked out at the sheep jumping around, pure serenity. We were left the most lovely gifts on arrival, which went down a treat. During our stay we had a question about one of the appliances which Warren helped us sort out straight away. We really didn’t want to leave, we can’t wait to return!
An open-plan lounge and dining area features a large wooden dining table surrounded by light-colored chairs. A cozy seating arrangement is visible in the background, complemented by a stone wall and natural light filtering through sheer curtains. A tasteful chandelier hangs above the dining table.

The Gatehouse at Mathern Palace

If you are looking for a getaway to literally get away - this is a fantastic option. The cottage sits in an area with many great local meadow walks just outside the cottage door. There are many tourist destinations including abbeys and castles, within 20-45 minutes drive. There are excellent eating options within driving distance and a local pub within walking distance. The cottage is beautifully renovated and decorated. Every bedroom has a private en-suite and the kitchen has absolutely everything you will need. We were quite happy staying in the cottage most of the time and relaxing together. We took our dog and the dog bed was all set up for her on arrival. The hot tub is perfectly relaxing and always ready to use. Charlotte is a fabulous host.
A well-maintained outdoor garden features manicured hedges and vibrant greenery. A spacious paved area provides seating under a large shade tree, surrounded by a lush lawn and decorative gravel paths guiding visitors through the tranquil space.

Hawthorn Lodge with Jacuzzi, sauna and play area

JodieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a lovely few days staying here, the weather wasn’t on our side however it didn’t spoil things. The accommodation was lovely, had everything we needed. Hot tub and sauna were simply perfect. The hosts were fabulous and we would definitely recommend this accommodation. The children loved the open space, the football goal and the chickens and geese. Thank you for allowing us to have a few days away in such a lovely place 🩷

Rural house & hot tub - Wye Valley/Forest of Dean

HarryRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The listing was as described. The views were as beautiful at night as they were in the morning. The cottage itself was clean, well equipped and certainly comfortable. It is in a great location to be able to drive to nearby towns or forests. The hot tub is a lovely touch, very nice on a hot or cold day/night. The sheep in the field were great entertainment too! I would recommend Monmouth, lots to do and see. The Wye valley was exceptional also.

Cosy cottage in Usk with wood-burner and parking

RuthRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Had a great stay. Brendan met us to give us the key cards, and we especially appreciated the welcome pack. The cottage is very charming and comfortable, with a lovely wood burning stove, which we used in the chilly evenings. It had everything we needed - comfortable beds, excellent shower and well-equipped kitchen. Off-street parking is a plus, and you can walk to restaurants and shops in a few minutes. Overall, a great base for visiting family in the area.

Cherished Chepstow Cottage • 3BR • Handy location

JoeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Vauxhall cottage was a lovely place to stay for a week with the family. Plenty of space, beautiful views, very much as described. Warning to those driving, the streets are quite narrow near it so driving took some getting used to, and Chepstow is fairly hilly, but obviously that's simply a feature of the area and nothing to do with Vauxhall directly. Several good restaurants within a half mile walk of the cottage, as well as the delightful Chepstow Castle which is great for kids and adults to explore.

Quirky cottage in a quiet location. Fantastic as a base for exploring Bristol and surrounding areas as train station 10 minutes walk away and bus stops close by. Very comfortable beds, great shower and a small suntrap garden, lovely to sit in to watch the birds on the feeders. The downstairs and first floor bedrooms were very cool in the hot weather.

The Old Cider Mill

JaneRating, 5 stars1 week ago
It will be hard to top this Airbnb as it is exactly what we wanted. Perfect in every way. Located actually on the Wye valley way, hardly anyone passed the cottage in the 3 days we were there. Please note that the lane is not much more than a dirt track and some cars might find it difficult in wet weather. The best thing about it is the peace and quiet. On Sunday morning, I went up to the top of the garden and stood looking at the view into the valley and listening to only birdsong. The bird feeder just outside the cottage is a hive of activity, we have seen at least 15 types of bird including a Great Spotted Woodpecker and squirrels. The cottage is small but perfectly formed, spotlessly cleaned and very comfortable and cosy. With table snd chairs outside for al fresco dining. Every day we were visited by a little terrier type dog we named Doris, she really made herself at home and I hope future guests will welcome her too. The only thing it needs is a bench at the to of the garden x
